  • Have you been able to self induce your labor?

I normally think, when people ask these questions, oh it's just another week or two. I am pregnant with my 5th child and I have officially gotten to that point. I am measuring 6 weeks ahead. I am 36 1/2 weeks along but the baby is measuring at least 42 weeks right now. My Doctor won't even talk inducing to me. Unfortunately I had to get a new Doctor for the new insurance because my old Doctor was very good about this kind of thing. My biggest baby was 9 pounds 11 ounces and we induced her 2 weeks early because I was measuring 3 weeks ahead. I am so nervous with this baby measuring double that, what effect this delivery is going to have on the baby if we wait longer and my body as well. I just don't want a 46 week baby!! (Which is what I will measure at my due date)

We are having some intercourse and I can't do a lot of walking because my sciatic nerves have been pinched for weeks now.

My daughter left her make up out and my 2 year old smeared those bright pink and purple kits all over the carpet. I need some ideas of how to get it out.

  • Why do we have "Fly Away's" when the hair has never been cut or pulled?

I have two spots on the top of my head where the hair is not even 2 inches long. I have never cut it or pulled it out yet it won't grow. I like to wear a pony tail at times and nothing keeps the hair down. Why is the hair so short when the rest of my hair is down to the middle of my back?

  • How can I sneak vegetables into my daughter's diet?

We have recently had to seriously restrict my daughter from a lot of foods for health reasons. Certain foods cause her a lot of pain. Basically the only okay fruit she can have is Pears and she has grown bored of them. I always offer vegetables at night when we have them and normally none of my kids will even touch them. The problem is with her not being allowed fruits that she does like, she has been reduced to grains. I need some ideas to get nutrients in food. She can't have cheese so there is no adding things to the typical macaroni and cheese meal. She can't have tomatoes so we can't add anything extra in there either. She can't have chocolate so there is no adding things in goodies. She won't eat casseroles or meat.

Here is a site that has more of the foods she can eat and can't eat.

I don't need recipes although they would be great. Just give me some ideas. So far I found the idea of adding carrots to pancakes.

  • Is "The Host" worth buying?

I am into the Twilight series. I read the first chapter on Stephenie's website but wasn't really interested. I am wondering, for those that have read it, if you liked the book enough to buy it. I am on a waiting list through the Library to borrow it, but who knows how long I will have to wait before they get to #23.

  • Question for Latter Day Saints?

This can be for anyone really, but I ask it to this group because we have the same beliefs. First, we believe that we are created in the image of God, and Second, God doesn't make mistakes, so how do you explain this......

  • Feed the kids separate dinners or make them go to bed hungry???

My kids are picky eaters, more specifically at dinner. For a while we were asking them to take a few bites of their food but it has just become a power struggle and then leads to my son vomiting it back up, so we are left with 2 options. Do we either make them something they will eat (in addition to what the adults are having) or make them go hungry? I am just curious what you would do, or have to do. They are 4 and 3.

  • Does Lasik hurt and was it hard to not rub your eyes?

I get tired of wearing glasses but I am so squeamish with things that I think will hurt. Another fear is that I will accidentally rub my eyes. I don't wear mascara very often and when I do I always forget and rub them anyway. Did you forget at all to not rub them?

  • Help with the 3 hour Glucose Test and Gestational Diabetes?

I just found out that I failed my one hour glucose test. I knew it was going to happen but after reading one person's experience on how her life changed with Gestational Diabetes, I am terrified. I am wondering who all failed the one hour and passed the 3 hour test. I am also wondering how your life changed with Diabetes. I am scared to death. I can't even look when I get poked, even for the iron prick. I just can't give myself shots. Any help???

This is my 4th pregnancy with no problems with my other pregnancies.
