I'm looking for the name of a song/singer. The only thing I remember is the line "take a ticket to Tacoma". I heard it on a public radio station in Washington, and it sounded like an older song. Has anyone heard this before?

I've recently recognized that I've been working through something resembling social anxiety. I feel nauseous going to work, I think that people are constantly making fun/talking bad about me, and I generally feel confusion and ditziness any time I'm in the middle of a crowd. Like I'm less than anyone around me.

Does anyone have a good way to combat that?

(I know it's usually irrational, but I can't stop feeling that way)

My boyfriend just proposed, and I'm already stressing the details...

Neither of us have very many friends, and our families are kind of small, so we don't want a big celebration. But I'm still not sure what kind of wedding to do. I haven't talked to most of my extended family (cousins, uncles, aunts, grandparents) for a while, and I don't really feel like they're a part of my life.

My dad, and most of my boyfriend's family live in another state. I'd like to invite his family up here, but I'm worried that my dad won't want to come (because my mom lives close to me). *Sigh*

In other words, how can I have a special, happy day with my amazing guy, surrounded by people we already know love us, without offending the "family" that I don't particularly care to see?

my friends keep cautioning me not to get too attatched to my boyfriend, i know its because they just dont want me to get hurt. but what is too attatched? where is that line that im not supposed to cross?

my boyfriend always tells me im beautiful. its hard to believe him sometimes, especially when im feeling like crap. so how can i know if he really does think im beautiful, or if he's just saying it?
