i lift weights and try to stay on a good diet plan, but my bone structure and muscle build isn't lanky or light like most...im thin but my muscle and bone mass causes me to weigh in around 140 pounds... is there a specific way i should lift weights to help my running? i heard if u built too much muscle bulk on it'll slow you down, is this true? if so, how should i keep my diet and exercise plan to match a good running schedule?

I am a high school sophomore and last year i went to state in Cross country (running)...but this year i have tried to train and diet like i have been told, even maxed out weight ive never been able to, but the problem is--my mile times are exceptionally slower and its about to get me kicked off the varsity team...any advise in diet plans, training, sleeping patterns etc. to help me out??

I was just rearranging the prickly pear cactus in a pot, and one of the branches snapped off, will the poor little cactus still heal properly? It popped off at the joint. Will that affect its growth? I appreciate the help!

while on chat, we go on there everyday and write a role play of kind of like a short story...it was beautiful and someone wants to try to publish it...but we don't know how to go into a month's worth of chat history! I've heard some people say nothing is impossible...but is that true in this case?

I live in Texas and I always find the most beautiful rosebushes to plant...but they all die.....all my bushes get black-spot, so how would you trim that off if it infests the entire plant? And I have had an antique rose that's 100 years old and all of a sudden, a vine and a tree is growing in the center of the 6foot in diameter bush! I can't just crawl in an trim or pull out! the thorns and branches are out of control! I can't just cut all of it back, I fear that it will die in the 104 degree weather we have here right now...but the vine is taking over quickly! There is also a tree stuck in the middle growing! how would you trim the bush? I also have bushes that used to be gorgeous...but now they look scrawny, leafless, and diseased...oh what do i do????

any help would be great!

I have gorgeous tomatoes and they are a nice red color when I pick them or I pick them when they are slightly orange to set in the sun...but before I pick them, I've noticed that they are cracked on top...any suggestions? And I've had help on my compost on this sight about the ants...but I've tried all the advice--I've turned the food scraps through the compost, blended them before I put them in there and I even resorted to not putting food scraps in the compost and turning it often...but DE isn't working (an organic bug repellent) and I can't seem to take them out...they've made my pile their home!!!

Technically , I have have questions to ask...

#1. how is is possible for the Big Dipper to stay in the North? The Earth constantly revolves...

#2. how could there be so many constallations that have stayed in the same pattern for so many years if there is so much hectic formations and destruction going on?

#3. Where is Venus located in the sky and at what time?

#4. When are the planets going to line up? i know it's soon, but what time, day, and year?

if you could answer any one of these questions it would be a great help!

I have been doing my compost for a while now (even though its my first year) and it used to have a nice musty dirt smell like it should and the dirt was really rich...but now it is infested with ants, silverfish, and pill bugs...i tried using some organic DE, but that only got rid of the compost-helping earth worms...

Please Help!!

i WANT christians and gays to please debate with me on this one!!?

christians and straights.....can you help being attracted to the opposite sex? can you put in enough will power to like the same sex if God and society willed it to be?

gays feel the same.....but it is a chemical inbalance for both ways of testostorome and estrogen....if you don't agree i want to hear you stand up to what you believe in but at least can we try to understand each other? even if we don't agree on it? gays have the punishment to be sent to 'hell' if that's what you believe but it is also 'thou shall not judge' one believer told me i couldn't belive in evolution and God that i must go by the FULL bible.....but i am very religious and i just want world piece wich starts one step at a time from us understanding each other before we understand our Earth......

be harsh or nice.....i just want to know what you have to say about eachother....
