My wife and I are in disagreement about a first name for our baby due in September. Which do you prefer? Edeline or Augusta? I personally do not like her choice, Edeline, as I think it is too old fashioned and a bit ugly, and potentially could be tough to have as a kid. I'm not going to talk my choice up, but I wanted to get a feel for other peoples opinions on these names before we really sit down and hash this out!!!

It was in the 4th quarter and I think they sack and safety were due to Cassel getting an intentional grounding penalty in the end zone. Nevertheless, the problem is that NFL.com and yahoo are showing a sack in the "times sacked" column for the Chiefs, but they aren't crediting any of the San Diego players with the sack. I cannot remember who was attempting to tackle Cassel, but that is who should have got credit for the sack. My Fantasy League doesn't want to credit me with the point because no player is getting credit on the website. Does anyone know?

I recently saw a tv commercial for these very nice earrings that I know would be a perfect 1st anniversary gift for my wife. Each earring had a white and a black pearl and hung straight down with a long piece that divided the two, maybe an inch long total length. My problem is that I don't remember who's ad it was and I can't seem to find it online!!! If anyone knows the commercial or the store that has it please let me know! Thank you!

I need the Java Virtual Machine to open an application from work and when I try to open the program it says this phone does not have it. I've tried to find out where to download it online and it appears to me they don't have anything yet. Just windows based applications which won't work because I guess the browser on this phone is a "palm" browser, according to them. Does anyone have any insight on this?

According to HP, since my laptop will not locate any wireless networks and the light stays orange instead of blue, the motherboard is bad. Besides that, the computer seems to work fine. Is this an accurate diagnosis? On top of that, they said that there was a recall on this laptop for this reason, but that it "ended" in June!!! I was never notified!

My laptop's charger port seems to be a bit "loose" on the inside. I noticed I had it plugged in yesterday and it was glowing blue to indicate it was charging, but the icon said, "plugged in, not charging". today I have to wiggle it around in the port and hold it upwards to get it to make the battery icon go up and down to indicate charging, but as soon as I let go it stops. I just bought a new cord, so I'd like to fix this problem. Is there a specific problem here, or can this be adjusted, tightened?

Last night I was trying to open a file and it asked me to download something in order to do it. When I did, it still didn't open the file, but the internet connection stopped and I've tried everything to get it going again. The only thing is, I have vista, which I hate, and I don't know how to go find the software I downloaded so I can delete it. I know where to find the hardware, but not the software? Tips? The computer is suggesting this is the problem. Thanks for any help!

So I was on my honeymoon last week and my wife and I saw one of several sea gulls standing on one leg. It actually looked like he had only one leg and we felt sorry for him til he pulled the other out from his feathers. He really had that thing tucked in there. Then we saw another do it. We decided it was a good yahoo answers question and so here it is! My best guess is that it is equivalent to a person crossing their legs, for comfort. FYI, it was 82 and the sand wasn't hot or cold!!!! Thank you for your well intended answers!

I have a 4 year old Weimaraner that has recently started to drive me nuts with his personality. He is an excellent hunter and I left him intact to breed him, but he has really gotten bad about hiking on everything (not in the house), and he has started to knock all the dogs food out of the bowl with his nose for no apparent reason. I hate to neuter him, but if it will help I think I will. The thing is that I have heard once they are grown up, neutering will not change this behavior.... it only will if they are pups. Is this true??????????

I've done this before and I realize it is best to do this one section at a time for precise spacing.....but on a 4x4 post it doesn't leave much room to butt the horizontal rails together on the post and screw them in. It seems like there must be a better method. Even if you hand built it, how do you screw the horizontal rails into the vertical post without overlaping them? It seems like if they were butted together it would look better since it would look like it was a continuous piece of wood, but like I said it doesn't leave much room to screw them on the post if you butt them together???? Any tips? I want to use premade, but the horizontal boards are not always cut evenly. My goal is for this to be secure and I'm not convinced butting them is the best way.

I have no idea what the difference is between diamonds aside from size. The ratings on clarity and cuts and different names mean nothing to me. I need to look at getting something in the next month and need some knowledge on what to look for. Also, what is a good amount to spend on a ring if you make 60,000? I don't want to buy anything cheap, but I am buying us a house and I believe that is much more important for our future than a piece of jewelry. I already have a recipe, but what I would like to know is for a 9 pound brisket, how long should I cook in the oven and at what temp.....and then how long on the grill while I'm putting on the BBQ and finishing? I figured about 210-220 in the oven for 6-8 hours and then 30 minutes to an hour on the grill. I gotta make this baby tender!!!!

Where can he find some high quality BUD, as he thinks he can buy it from locals on the street, but I have my doubts as the town is know to be somewhat Americanized. I have called General Motors since I never got the letter that I was supposed to get telling me the cluster was bad and is supposed to be compensated. They are supposed to send me the "reimbursement form" and couldn't tell me how long it would take to get the money back that I should have never had to pay. They apparently knew about this defect a long time ago and decided not to tell me when I fixed it last summer ($450). Does anyone know how long it takes to get the refund, and does anyone know anything about the lawsuit incorporating reimbursing people for speeding tickets and insurance increases.......which, in my eyes, is completely relevant. My girlfriend and I are planning on going to Los Cabos with some friends in March and would like to find the best deal on an all inclusive vacation. Does anyone have any insight on where to go for this aside from the obvious websites like travelocity, sandals...... I would think that a couple could go for 6 nights planning 3 months in advance for around a grand a person or less. Our best quote so far is 1400 a person flying out of Kansas City.

My girlfriend is experiencing a sharp pain above her left pectoral muscle when she takes a deep breath. It started about an hour ago when she woke up and we were wondering what might be causing it. Overall she feels fine, but the pain is obviously annoying. Does anyone have any QUALIFIED answers as to what this may be? Please no wild guesses and directions to go to a doctor... we will address this if it persists. Thank You! She is 21 and in good health.

I recently filed a restraining order in my county against an ex girlfriend who broke into my house and stole my dog. She has also filed one against me simultaneously stating that I went to hear house and got the dog back. I have police reports showing her at my residence and I was never at hers. How do these proceedings work when you show up. I need to know since I'll be going to two of them next week. Also, they are asking for court fees to be paid and return of the property that they are missing......which the property they are missing is a dog that we both have rights to. Can they make these requests in a Protective Order hearing??? I do not see how. Finally, can I subpoena the officer that filed the crime at my house to appear at my hearing along with the report to be available???
