I'm moving soon and I know a great deal about computers but I'm just stumped on what would best fit my need. I plan on skipping on the TV service and just going with internet. I already have a custom built Windows machine, a Linux netbook, and another cheap Windows machine. I'm really considering finally jumping on the "Mac Wagon".

My needs:

Something that'll be able to hook up to a HDMI TV to stream NetFlix etc.

Has decent hardware to handle Photoshop and HD movies.

Universal to Mac accessories.

Bluetooth, iPhone accessible.

Leaning towards a MacBook Air but I heard they have an overheating problem? Real question is, What would best suit my needs. Thank you for any information!

Yea, it's jbed. Kind of had too. But I know AT&T and Apple would not already touch it but I am technology savvy. I just need to know what part I need. Remember, everything works. I can still touch the icons on the dock and use it as an iPod. Just can't see it.

I originally had a 3Gs and I upgraded to the iPhone 4 when it was released. Which I got a separate micro sim for. I was wondering if or how I can use my old mega sim card in the 3Gs.

The reason: I'm going on a trip and I am scared to bring my iPhone 4 with and would like to bring the 3Gs. The old mega sim still has my number on it.

Is it possible to use it? Do I have to go to AT&T? Do I have to remove my micro sim out of my iPhone 4? (Got the invisible shield maximum protection).

I have a Norwegian Forest cat and he recently had a hairball problem. I went to the "superstore" and picked up "The Goodlife Recipe" and a few days after that I picked up "Iams: Digestive formula". I read that if I wanted to change my cat's food, mix the new food in with the old starting with 25% of the new food on the first day than 50% percent the next few days and keep adding more until the old kind of food isn't used. But I guess this has two questions:

First: Is "The Goodlife Recipe" healthy for an adult cat? (Normally found in a tan-ish color bag for around 5 dollars) I found some reviews saying "It nearly killed my cat". Than I see more that say it's really good for them. The main ingredient is corn?

Second: Is it healthy or "recommended" to mix cat food? Or just switch to the Iams and stay with that.

My cat is 6 years old. Which if you know about Norwegian Forest cats, they have a lot of long hair. I'm a college kid who loves cats and would like to know if I'm doing the right thing for my little fluff.

I have a Norwegian Forest cat and lately he has been acting a little excluded from the family. Today, I discovered poop around his rear end in his fur. I tried to remove it but he gets angry and runs away and lays in his spot. He would normally be "normal" and run away and play but could this "entanglement" be a cause for his odd behavior? I can I remove this problem?

I try to brush him everyday and he likes it but this "issue" is by his "manly" parts. He is fixed and de-clawed.

All into one. No iTunes or Outlook.

Whats the catch this XP Mode Microsoft is trying to push out with Virtual PC?

Should I be weary about it? Microsoft spying on us? Or are they just giving us a "free" virtual OS because they seem to mess up a lot.

By the way, Can I even download Virtual PC without this "XP Mode" and not get a pop up saying something about this update has already been installed. Which is also a 64 bit?

I'm using WinZip to back up files to my FTP server. Which I'm a little unsure which back up to use. I just want to back up files that I have modified, added, or deleted to back up. Which type would that be?

Here's my dilemma, I bought two 640 gig hdds two years ago with one 80 gig as the OS and the two 640 are currently dynamic creating roughly 1.2 terabytes. As you may have guessed, they're getting pretty full. I was thinking either a 1 terabyte or adding another 640 creating a roughly figured 1.8 terabyte but with three drives. If I'm not mistaken, please correct me if I'm wrong, running three hard drives would cut down on stress the hard drives encounter thus, creating a long life. But there is the possibility of if one fails, the other hard drives fails.

Question is: Which would be the better option?

(1) One terabyte HDD

Or

Adding another 640 gig, dynamically assigning it to my other 640s creating a roughly figured 1.8.

Of course I'll keep the two 640 HDD in my case but I'm thinking speed and life specs.

I'm house sitting and they have Dish Network. I've never used Dish, and I was wondering what I can watch and if I watch something, if they'll get charged for it.

I've always been a Windows boy. But since I successfully built a hackintosh, I've been really liking the OS and the hardware of the Mac's seem really nice (Mac Book Pro). Seems like Apple has pulled me in. But here is a question, You can run Windows in the Mac OS, Does it run like it would on a PC? So I could run good detailed games on it? Such as like Call of Duty: Black Ops or games such as that.

I've been looking at them, figured i'd get the 15" Mac Book Pro with 8 gigs of RAM and i7 2.8 CPU with GT 330M. I'm a college student so I'm going to use that discount.
