I have a female American Bulldog-Husky mix, who is now about 6-8 months old. We got her at 10 weeks and started crate training her at 12 weeks. In the two weeks she wasn't being crate trained, she learned instantly to go potty outside when we took her, but we also were taking her every 30 min. Once we started crate training her, she learned the word "crate" (when asked to go in it) pretty quickly, but she still hasn't mastered the not going potty in it part. We take her out in the morning, noonish, afternoon, night, and before we go to bed. Granted she used to poop in it every morning, and now I've only had to pick up poop once in the last month or so, she still pees in it and doesn't care. She never let's anyone know until AFTER she does it and lays in it, and if there's a blanket in there, she never tells anyone. We only notice when we take the blanket out and it's soaked. I just moved into an upstairs apartment with brand new carpet, I'm very weary to giving her the opportunity to pee on the carpet, I have no way of properly cleaning it up. However ive never heard of crate training taking 6 months, I would like to enjoy my dog, outside of a crate, without stressing. So far the daily routine is take her straight outside, let her potty, and putting her straight back in. Then at night we walk her. I'm wondering what to try next? I feel really bad for he and I want to be able to have her in the house freely. I was told her crate is too big, but I was wondering if anyone has any other advice?

I just got a puppy and she's gone without a name for a week now. She's starting to answer to "puppy" or "uhhh...you there! Dog species.." so I need to name her. She's going to get BIG. She's an American Bulldog, part of the mastiff group.

We're into unique, punk, goth (jack skellington not midevil), strange, Harry potter, the lost boys, star wars, awesome 80e movies, rockabilly, pirates... Anything of epic proportions. But we're also giant geeks, so heroine/comic book names work too. Preferably one syllabl and not embarrassing to yell out :) make it cute too. I like Bellatrix Lestrange but I'm already naming my second daughter that. We tried Hermione but It's not dark enough. Hermoines too sweet.

We have a electric washer and an electric dryer, we just moved and the only outlets there are is a standard two prong outlet and a gas hookup. Is there any adapters i can buy or a place i can buy a cord to switch out that will work? Before I have to find a new dryer. Any ideas?

I just adopted a male chow/shepherd mix from a rescue, he's 5 months old and will not stop peeing in the house. He is actually crate trained too. At the rescue, he was either running around a huge ranch outside, or inside in his crate. Now at our house, he wont come out of the crate and be with family, and if he does, he pees like a horse in 3 different places. We make him go outside and say bad dog, but we would like him to be able to be in living room hanging out with us without being in a cage. Do we potty train him with puppy pads or? I just dont understand, cause normally i would say crate train him to make it stop... but he is crate trained.

I just got the Ab Circle Pro and Ive tried using it but I can keep from straining my back. I know it says center your weight in the middle, and ive read the directions over and over. So now just my back and right side of my neck is strained and sore. Any suggestions? In simple steps or something easy to understand and apply

My cat had her first litter 3 weeks ago and only one survived. Hes healthy and developing quite normally except he has no litter mates. Im afraid hes not learning to play and be a kitten. Usually by now kittens are playing with each other in the nesting box, but instead its just him and momma kitty and he really just kinda sleeps and lays there instead of playing like he should. Is there a way to substitute siblings so he socializes normally?

My grandpa moved out of state and left his house "for good". He said that my husband and I could live in it if we payed the mortgage payment as rent. My grandpa is kind of a nasty, selfish man sometimes and along with that has Alzheimers and the two together make it so that he has changed everyones lives like 3 times all because he wanted to move back east. Anyway, so he moved back east, lived there for a month and then decided he wanted to move back. He called and said he would be back in a week. This means i have a week to find a new place, get utilites switched over, back up my crap and leave. Now, a lease was never signed but he did sign a small written up paper saying he was renting it out to us because at one point he promised it to someone else, forgetting he already promised it to us. So there was a paper signed acknowledging it was being rented to us. He says he dosnt have to give us a 30 day notice because there was never a lease when i know thats not true, he has to give us one. But what do i do if he decided he isnt going to anyway? I dont have the money or desire to take a 74 year old man to court over this, but i need something to tell him to make him believe that, yes, he does have to give me a 30 day notice or else _____. What are the penalties or reprocutions of not following the rule? I mean its here to protect both parties, and dosnt really protect anyone if there isnt anything to back it up.

My sister and her husband are moving to Charlotte because of FEDEX and I was offered to fallow them to be with my nephew and soon to be niece (yay). But what im wondering is what is Charlotte like? I like in Southern California. My husband wants to move there because of the racing influence there. What are the good points and bad points about Charlotte? I have 2 pitbulls, california HATES pitbulls and its hard to move with them. Does Charlotte have the same ideas about pits? How much history is there (im a history buff and love museums etc...) Also, my grandparents live in Virginia and every year have to leave home because of a hurricane. Do the storms reach NC or is it just out of reach.

I read somewhere that its bad if kittens are born in the litter box, and often new queens will deliver in the litter box. What do I do if this does happen? What are the main concerns? How Do I avoid this, and what can I do to clean them up and keep them healthy if this does happen?

I know that cats are pregnant for about 3 months, but I dont exactly remember when she got pregnant, it was somewhere around the beginning of June. Im sure shes not ready yet, but she just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Id like to know when I should start making a safe place for her and getting ready. she gets bigger and bigger everyday and now since a couple days ago, shes hungry all the time. She went through 2 1/2 cans of wet food the other day when she usually only has a half a day. Im just wondering if theres any symptoms that shes reached the end. Not same day symptoms like meowing and clawing at stuff, its obvious then. But anything before that? Like "shes due anytime this week?"

What could this be? Its painful AFTER i urninate. So during its perfectly fine, but right when the stream stops, it hurts BAD. I imagine a baggy of water, turn it over and pour it out, when its almost done it closes on itself but theres still water coming out. Right then is when i get a feeling like somthing is clawing its way out on the inside. It sucks. Im thinking bladder infection? But its not a burning sensation

My boyfriend and I are renting a room from a lady. We have the master bedroom while she has the rest of the house. She said she had quit, but today she was smoking A TON of pot. My sister says we could get in trouble too because we're all under the same roof. Does anyone know for sure?

I have been in pain for a few months now, and there hasnt been any rest in between. Im not able to hug my boyfriend, sleep is very painful, i often have to wear bathing suit tops because bras are painful... Im affraid there is somthing seriously wrong, considering my family has a history of various cancers including Breast cancer. My doctors too over booked and i always have to wait 2 months for an appoinment. Id like some piece of mind while i wait for November 1st (my appointment date) and how would i ask the doctor about this? Please give me some advice, maybe make me feel better.. =/ help

I have a couple bottles of PM Shines demi-permanent hair color, one' in blonde and one in ruby red. What do you think would happen if i put the blonde on my dark brown hair? what about the red? Id like some real answers, no guesses cause i can do that myself

As i kid in the 90s, i had this wierd roll out mat that i would watch tv on. It was yellow and it had a big wedge shape for the pillow and had a belt around it for when you rolled it up. it was made out of foam. I cant find anything like it online, using google or anything like that. I was wondering if anyone knew what i was talking about so you could help me find it

I also put out a plate of food in the morning one time and found fuzzy mold on it that night so maybe he got into that? and the Zilla Supplement is supposed to help with color...maybe thats it?

1. download magicISO

2. click on "tools"

3. on the dropdown select "virtual CD/DVD ROM"

4. click "install magic disk" (I believe that's what it says) anyway, whatever it tells you to install do it.

5. after installation reclick on "virtual CD/DVD ROM" and then click "k: no media"

6. then you search through your documents (it should be in "uploads" and click on the "sims 2"

7. it will have 4 cds to install. Click the first one and whenever it prompts you to put in the second disk just install the second cd, as so on until the fourth one.

*On another note, you can't register this online, so just skip that part.*

Continue on installing all the CD's and when it's all done go to "no-CD fix" and copy the "Sims2EP6.exe" to "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Bon Voyage\TSBin - overwrite the existing file.

Im about to get a Kingsnake hatchling, and from what ive learned, hatchlings and adults bite. Hatchlings more often then adults. What i would really like to know, since a bite is innevitable, will it hurt?
