  • How do you explain the sun positions on the winter solstice and on Perihelion?

On December 9, and on Perihelion which is approximately on January 4, or thereabout, the sun is perpendicular on earth latitude at 22.46 below the equator. While on winter solstice, on December 21, the sun is perpendicular to earth latitude approximately 23.4 degrees below the equator. I understand therefore that there are two perihelions to the earth where earth is closest to the sun during those two dates. If I am wrong, then how do you interpret the similar positions that the sun takes and becomes perpendicular to the same earth latitude on those two dates? Could you kindly explain this condition!

  • What equation astronomers use to calculate the sun-earth distance?

What is and state the mathematical equation used to calculate the distance between earth and the sun at any given day of the year? Define all the given variables and constants and use the equation to calculate the earth-sun distance on the winter solstice, and on perihelion when the earth is closest to the sun? Your assistant will be greatly appreciated!

  • When does the earth reach zero deceleration?

According to Kepler's law regarding earth motion around the sun, when does the earth reach zero deceleration during its motion reaching thereby its slowest velocity before it starts accelerating in its ecliptic path? Is it on the summer solstice which is on June 21, or on July 3 or 4 every year when the earth is farthest away from the sun?

  • What makes the sun perpendicular on the tropic of Capricorn on winter Solstice before it reaches perihelion?

What makes the sun perpendicular on the tropic of Capricorn on December 21, before it reaches its perihelion position on January 5? On this point (Perihelion position), the sun is perpendicular on earth latitude 22.50 degrees approximately south of the equator as explained by Astronomy. I can only visualize movement of the sun upwards above the tropic of Capricorn only on its perihelion and not on December 21 which is on January 5. The same thing goes when the position of the sun is on the tropic of Cancer in June 21! Can you explain this astronomical incident? I still can't visualize this incident in my mind. Thank you so much. I do really appriciate an answer!

  • How can you calculate the earth vector during its motion around the sun?

What is the vector (speed and direction) of the earth motion around the sun?

Could you kindly state the equation of the earth motion around the sun? Also, from the equation, what is the earth vector on December 21, and on January 5, every year?

I would greatly appreciate your assistance in this matter. References to any site that shows the eccentricity of earth motion around the sun is also very much appreciated. Thank you!

  • Upon what earth latitude will the sun be perpendicular on July 4?

The sun is perpendicular on the tropic of cancer on June 21. On that date, we have the longest day during the year. On July 4 or 5, the earth becomes farthest away from the sun. What is the "earth latitude" upon which the sun becomes, relatively speaking, perpendicular when the earth is farthest away from the sun? Is there any equation that can calculate the situation?

    Thank you!

  • Is not the big bang theory incomplete?

Why big bang believers ignore a very important fact when they try to explain how the universe started? Is not the existence of an infinite space, infinite void of nothingness, necessary before the big bang theory initiated? An infinite space has to be first created to ignite the big bang so that the constituents of the universe expand into an endless space!

The creation of an infinite space must precede the start of the Big Bang before which no matter can possibly shape itself into the infinite nothingness! How do you justify the creation of nothingness before the creation of the universe?

  • In which direction does the earth revolve around the Sun?

If we fix our reference axis some 100,000 light years away from the Milky Way such that the Milky Way Galaxy is in view before our eyes and the extent of its two edges are observable from our fixed axis. Our solar system is now seen as a faint star, perhaps not observable by the naked eye, located in the left side or left arm of the Milky Way from our point of reference. So before us is the whole Milky Way with all its 400 billion stars in view. The center of the Milky Way is also observable as a very luminous vortex or a black hole exactly ahead of our view!

From my point of reference, do the earth and the planets that revolve around the sun, with the exception of Uranus which moves in opposite direction, move clockwise or anti clock wise? Also, from the same point of reference, does the Milky Way rotate clockwise or anti clockwise? And finally what is the speed in which our Milky Way moves in a collision course with the Andromeda Galaxy? Straight forward questions!

    Thank you!

  • What event will exactly take place on December 21, 2012?

I have come to understand that on December 21, 2012, the axis of earth rotation will make an alignment with the axis about which the Milky Way revolves. I understand that the movement of the tilted axis around which the earth rotates is 23.5 degrees which creates the 4 seasons. And this angle never changes during the years, but what changes is the polar star due to the wobbling of the earth causing the movement of the seasons through the years and changes in the polar star. Now Polaris is the Polar star. One whole revolution for the earth to return to the current state takes 25,800 years. This means that in approximately 13,000 years the summer solstice will start on December 21 instead of June 21.

My question is: Why will the earth come to its doom and total destruction if the two axes of revolutions, namely, the earth and the Milky Way Galaxy align together? If some one understands this expected event differently will you please please explain what exactly is going to take place? Thank you!

  • To senior astronomers with knowledge of math!?

If the Sun is perpendicular on the tropic of Capricorn 14 days prior to perihelion, namely on December 21-21, then on what latitude the sun will be perpendicular at the time of perihelion, and on what latitude will it be perpendicular 14 days after perihelion? Do you think you have the perfect answer which can be mathematically illustrated?

  • Do the events of the future exist?

Please express yourself with deductive or inductive reasoning. We know that the events of the past exist from the recorded history, and the events of the present are fashioned by our current action and reaction. Most astronomers and philosophers reasoned that the past, the present and the future are weaved together like a piece of a cloth and constitute inter-dependability on one another! Fore example, if we can't change the past, then we can't change the future. How do you answer this question?

  • Before the expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, did Adam and Eve have any awareness of time? ?

While living in the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve were not subject to death, and they accordingly lived eternally in the presence of God during which their spirits were one with God whose existence is not subject to time. Death occurred only when Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, as God told them that this would be the consequences if they eat from the cursed tree!

We know that both Adam and Eve died spiritually the moment they ate from the fruit of the tree-meaning their spirits were separated from the spirit of God almighty, and thus spiritual death inflicted on them as a punishment from God. The physical death, which obviously meant the separation of the physical body from the spirit followed thereafter.

Now If time existed in the garden of Eden, did Adam and Eve ever engaged in any sexual performance, notwithstanding that had they engaged in sex, Eve would have brought forth a child in the likeness of the Father and the Mother having eternal life and a spirit in contact with the Spirit with God similar to their condition, because they would have brought forth a child without sin-the sin of which its wages is death as we all know!

Do you think that you can intellectually explain and reason using your mind to conceive an answer in any manner you understand this puzzling situation? Every Christian must have thought of this controversial issue! Please answer the question in any manner you understand the question!

  • To all Astronomers and Astrophysicists: Please answer this question seriously!?

Many people are talking about this unexplained phenomenon. I myself could not verify its accuracy. They are saying that on the coming October 17, 2008 the sun will rise continuously for 36 hrs (1.5 days). During this time the US countries will be dark for 1.5 days.

It will convert 3 days into 2 big days. They add that this happens once in 3400 yrs. The last occurrence that took place in the past was when Joshua prayed to God to hold the sun still for 24 hours! What can you say about this?

  • Why is there over 200 years difference been our current Gregorian calendar and the Jewish calendar?

Most of the theologians refer to the year 4004 before Christ as the time of Adam’s creation, or the start of recorded history by man, while the Jewish calendar has recorded the creation of Adam to be 5768 years ago. I would highly appreciate an answer by those who can explain the difference.
