Does Christ save us IN our sins, or FROM our sins
And why is that difference important? Remember that "no unclean person can enter into the Kingdom of Heaven"
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat is the greatest lesson you have learned from your parents (guardians)?
Spiritually speaking, what is the greatest lesson you have learned from your parents/guardian. If not from them, then the greatest lesson from an adult you looked up to while growing up.
For me - my parents live "judge not, lest ye be judged" everyday. This is the greatest lesson I have learned from them - how to not judge people because of their choices. People will make choices that are different than mine and I cannot judge them based on their choices. Some people are different than me and it's not by choice - I need to accept them. My parents taught me how to accept those who are different than me.
Jesus said "love everyone" - He never said "love everyone, except" My parents are great examples of following this commandment. They love and accept everyone despite their differences.

And what does it mean for you.
"The gospel of Jesus Christ is not insurance against pain. It is resource in event of pain, and when that pain comes (and it will come because we came here on earth to have pain among other things), when it comes, rejoice that you have resource to deal with your pain."

11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat type of pans are the best to cook on?
I'm thinking of getting a new pan set. I'm researching different brands and different types of cookware. This will be a big investment as I plan on keeping these pans for the rest of my life (hopefully).
So I'm trying to decide between cast iron, copper, or stainless steel.
The brands I've narrowed it down to are:
Copper: http://www.mauviel.com/
Stainless Steel: http://www.all-clad.com/
Cast Iron: http://www.lecreuset.com/usa/home.php
Any opinions?

Regardless of your stance on the Iraq War or who you're thinking of voting for in the next election. You should remember where the Democrats once stood on the war issue. They have all turned around and said they were against the war. But this proves that many of them supported the president and the war in Iraq from the beginning.
7 AnswersElections1 decade agoDoes eating chocolate while breastfeeding cause your baby to have allergies?
OK, so I know this is a silly question. But I'm a first time mom and there have been some people who are shocked that I still eat chocolate while breastfeeding my baby. They say that me eating chocolate will cause my son to become allergic to chocolate later in life. I am skeptical and think it may be an old wives' tale. But anyone know anything about this? Thanks
4 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoWhere can I find chocolate liquor?
I know that choclate liquor has no alcohol - it is made from the grinding of the cacao bean. But where do I find it? I have a recipe that calls for chocolate liquor and I'm not sure where to find it. Or can I melt unsweetend chocolate (which is made from choclate liquor and cocoa butter) as a substitute?
6 AnswersCooking & Recipes2 decades agoWhat happens at the end of Lysistrata(sp)?
Not to sound ignorant - but I've only seen bits and pieces of this play. I love it - but for some reason haven't ever gotten to see the end. Do the women, led by Lysistrata, win with their sex strike and end the war? Or does the war go on? Thanks for clearing this up for me.

10 AnswersCooking & Recipes2 decades agoBusiness owners - what is your worst month of the year as far as sales and such?
I've only been in business for about 8 months. April really sucked big time. I've talked to others who also had a hard time in April. Is this the norm all the way around? What month do sales for you dip low?
