I grew up with the rule- you can associate with blacks outside of the home but you never invite them over for dinner or invite them over at all. Am I the only one?

I had surgery in 2007 I got preauthorization from BCBS as did the hospital. BCBS paid the bill then requested their money back stating that it was a pre-existing condition. Can they do that? Once they authorize it don't they have to cover it. I would have never had the surgery without authorization of coverage, now I'm stuck with a huge bill.

They paid for the surgery then requested their money back saying that the condition was pre-existing. I signed up online for BC/BS of Georgia in September 2007 and mailed them a check, which cleared two weeks later. My first appointment with the physician was on November 30, 2007. They said that my coverage did not start until December 1, 2007 and refuse to pay. I never signed any paperwork (since I applied online for coverage) and I assumed that once the check had cleared I was covered and just had not received my card yet. Since they gave me the go ahead with preauthorization shouldn't they have to pay? Please someone in the insurance field please give me your input.

(Victory Danes) After talking to the breeder and seeing numerous photos I'm curious. She says that her danes are European and therefore larger than American ones. They just seem to be shorter and not as lean. Any other information you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Help me find a reputable dane breeder in Georgia.
