for the last 6 yrs or so I have done everything to help an adult daughter get on her feet, she lived with me three different times 1st time she hit me I made her leave 2nd time around I wanted her to get on her feet so I told her to go to skool that time she got 4000.00 dollars didn't give me anything left her son and was gone til she was broke came back 3rd time she was doing disrespectful things in my home while I have teen girls watching all of this each time she lefted my grandson and we took care of him with no help from her or his father so then she would come take the child out of school months at a time which set him back each time this yr he started kindergarten and he was in school for 1 week and showed up at my house with the police took my grandson crying kicking he didn't not want to go she told my husband I was cheating on him and just destored my house family and mainly my 5 yr old grandson I cry for him cause I miss him so so much but, I do not want anything to do with her she is 28 yrs old hatful she called dcfs on a cousin because she was jealous of her when do you just wash your hands of an adult child that means you harm but you want to see your grandchild and make sure they are safe?

I am from the North & and my husband is from the South & we both like to eat grits but in total different ways:

Like I said my husband is from the South and he likes to put butter, salt & pepper on his grits even some gravy.

But me on the other hand:

I eat my grits with butter & sugar with some toast, I mean I tried his way and he has tried it mines but, at the end of the day he can not eat it my way and I will not eat it his way..

So how do you eat your grits, it really doesn't matter where you from but, if you would like to say it would be cool to, I mean like are you from the North or the South R you a Sugar or a Salt?

Okay before I start I would like to Thank Everyone who took the time out to give me your advice or your opinion "The Serious Ones".

This is no joke for me.

Now here is the situation:

I have three daughters 23, 14, & 12, my 23 yr-old daughter just had her 1st &(only child) for now and didn't have anywhere to go and she needed my help, now to start with her & I were not very close, she didn't want to move in with me in the beginning but, she needed to for the baby, the 14 & 12 yr-old are my husband's daughters, so they came with my marriage anyway my 23 yr-old came into my home and she stressed all of us out but, I wanted to help her to get on her feet for her son sake, if she is not doing good nor can he, so anyway I helped her to get into school and she was doing very good and things had seemed to calm down for a while, we did fall out at times but, that's part of being in a family but, as time went by she started doing very disrespectful things, which is not the point but anyway it has been almost a year and for a few days she had been staying out all nite spending the night with this new boyfriend and she stopped taking care of her busniess and that is a big No,No because she moved in and did not have to pay rent or bills or anything like that I kept my grandson when she had important things to do but, I would not keep him for her to run the streets, So a week or so ago she had been gone for like three days (with the baby of course) and when she came in she was being very nasty and I just do not except that from anyone staying in my house or from my kids so she called me out of my name and that was the last straw, I went to confront her and all hell broke out, she actually put her hands on me in a fight, and I put her out because I have always said that the day one of my kids feel like they want to put their hands on me afterwards they would have to leave my home, so I put her out which means I had to put out my grandson because he is hers and he was the main reason why she had to come stay here. It has been a week or so and she has tried to say sorry but, I just can not get over her putting her hands on me because I was raised and taught that you do not hit your parents no matter what, it's call respect I will still keep my grandson when she has busniess to take care of but to let her come back and live in my home I can not do, because to me if I let her jump on me and still come live off of us is telling my younger girls that they to can disrespect me and get away with it.

Now my question "After all of that right"

What would you do if you were in my place, if your adult child had hit you and left marks or brusies on you would you let them stay in your home?

If yes Why & How would you deal with it especailly if there are children still in the house watching all of this?

This is the situation:

The step-child is 13 yrs-old, a girl who has that "I don't give a care attitude" she says that she will do what she wants because she knows that she will not get in any trouble because the whippings doesn't hurt any more and being on punishment is just fine with her because she is very lazy, she don't want to do nothing anyway but lay around reading her amine and vampires books, she has started getting rude at school with the teachers,she do not do her homework, she has also made it clear at school that she is "gay", which was not a good idea in 8th grade because she has been in fights, That's not all then there is her father who says he is not a girl so he should not have to deal with the problem, which leaves who?

Me the "Step-mother" and let's keep it real at 13 who wants to listen to the "NOT MOTHER".

I am really lost here what do I suppose to do? I have been apart of her life since she was like 4 yrs-old but, I have been married to her dad since she was 11yrs-old and we have been living together since she was 10 yrs-old, and we were very close back then but, of course when she became a teenager things changed and I was fine with that but, this situation I am lost, if she knows all I am going to do is fuss and she does not get whippings anymore, the punishments are not working either, so what do I do because I have not help with the father, he feels like it's a "girl thing", can anyone give some type of advice, please only the serious ones because I want to do what is right for the child, there is another one after her that I have to deal with........Thanks in advance to all who really tries to give me some help any real help that is.........

Okay parents 10 points for the most detailed & honest answer to my question:

This is for my 23 year-old daughter, she is a 1st time mother and she has done just about every mistake that a 1st time mother does with her 1st born child, she has spoiled him,you know with the jumping to his every cry even when he is dry& fed. She still sleeps with him her bed every night, she has learn how to deal with his yelling, and screaming which was not a good idea but, now he is starting to hit her and fight her, he gets angry about little things like not wanting to hold his own bottle, then he will reach out at her if she is holding the bottle for him the way he wants it he will actually hit her.

Now I keep him during the week Mon-Fri and they do live with me he is not like that with me, he will listen to me and of course he doesn't act out like that when he is with me or my husband, Now I have told her that all babies act different with their parents then other people including grandparents because a child will go as far as you let them, now my grandson is 8 month-old and he is acting out really badly towards his mother, as I told her he only does what he sees and what you let him do, so my question is how do she stop him from hitting her and hitting out at her and how does she stop him from yelling, screaming, just overall acting out in a negative way in order to get his way, how does she get control of her son and maintain it as he grows older, 1 year of age is only 4 months away it will get worst before it gets better if she does not get control of him now.

My cat has eaten some of the ribbon from a gift under the tree, everytime she eats she trows it back up, she is still playful but she can not eat and I know it will only get worst, I have removed the ribbons competely but it has been two days now, need some helpful advice on how to get her to eat.

The question asked by Donald Thrump have actually started a whole new problem,

Once the question was answered, a lot of people had a problem with the answer that was picked, but wait the answer picked was actually voted for by the people not the Thrump camp, any way that is not the problem, the problem comes in when you want to vote for the answer picked.

A lot of us have tried to vote for this answer and instead of the vote going through we all get a quote saying "Opps! you have used up all of your vote for today"

Now the problem with this is, that none of us have used up any of our votes, or just may be 2-4 votes.
