I made by what would today be considered a throwaway account. Someone stole my cell phone and had to change all my passwords. However, when I came to one they sent the recovery email, to an old yahoo account, I can remember the Yahoo account name but not the password. Here's the kicker the two email address listed on file with the account, i don't remember what they are. Is there any way to get to the security questions part of this?

Ok, I will be the first to admit, I wasn't the best tenant, but my landlord came in an inspected it and said it wasn't clean to his standards. I pay by the week (actually I pay bi-weekly, I get paid bi-weekly so this makes the most sense.) He put a letter on my door today, saying that to have professional cleaners and to offset damages to the apartment, he's raising my rent from $80 a week, to $90 a week ($180), effective next Saturday. Is this even legal? It seems kinda short notice.

I just filed my taxes using turbo tax, I was sure I entered all of the information correctly but when I reviewed the returns, I notice the routing number, and the account number were both the routing number. (federal return). What should I do now?

I got a ticket for defective equipment and since the ticket the car got repoed, i had to quit my job and find another one and in the process had to get another one so the assessed me with a $25 dollar late charge. The problem: the court is in the next county over, and I tried to explain all this to the clerk when I talked to her yesterday. I told her that this Thursday, I would send them a payment. The clerk informs me that if they don't have the $125 by the 12th they will suspend my license. Should I make an effort to head over there or should I send in a payment when I get my check next Thursday? I appreciate the help.

Its about 1 inch wide at the bottom (chipped) then the crack is about 2 inches long and is on an edge piece (on a trailer)

I have a cable box from someone else, on my account there is a cable box. The one the cable company is "letting me rent" doesn't work properly. Can I hook the other cable box up or do they get a signal from the box itself to let them know it belongs to someone else?

My listening device (long story) for my computer died last night. I had these computer speakers that don't plug in hooked up to my computer, they however don't have a power supply, they are old, polk audio speakers, is there any way to amplify the sound.

I was told the answer was no, but i wanted a second opinion.

I live with these people right, and I know I shouldn't complain, but from time to time when they ask me to do odd things, I say "what now", or "what do they want this time" well yesterday afternoon, i was trying to take a nap (these people have a paper route, and i assist them, don't judge, plz), i hadn't had a good nap after the route since Wednesday (I believe) well, i was just about ready to fall asleep when i said it, now there erked, I don't mind helping them, its just one of those things you regret saying after the fact. The awkard thing is I don't remember my exact choice of words. My question is what do i do to try and fix the situation? I also should note: There reallyyy mad. I realize I messed up big time, plz don't rub it in.

all of the other keys work except control, i have a windows keyboard. it will be until monday, when i can get another one, i just would like to make capital letters faster, and not use the on-screen keyboard.

Ok, I have a hum coming from my speakers, you already know that :) this is a low frequency hum, and the volume of it depends on the volume of the radio (have it hooked up to the input jack on the radio) and the master volume, I think it could be a sound card problem because when I disconnect the input the radio works fine. I have used the Windows Sound Troubleshooter and it was no help. Could this be a sound card issue (Sis 7018 Wave), a problem with the input cord, or what? and is the problem easily fixable?

I have a Sis 7018 sound card, I read on the internet that you have to install the drivers to be able to record sound. The problem: Any site I go to for drivers the "Setup" file won't work. The readme file that comes with the drivers only gives instructions for Windows 98/Windows 98SE/Windows 2000 and Windows ME. Am I doing something wrong?, Am I going to the wrong place (I went to the Sis Website, and those wouldn't work). Please help, I want to be able to use voice chat on Yahoo Messenger!!!

Let me further clarify my question, I live in a house that currently has 4 computers hooked up to the internet through a router. I am computer #5, right now, I can't afford getting an 8-port switch and the computer repair shops in this area don't have any switches in stock. Can I call the ISP, and get a second modem hooked up to my Cable TV line? and does the cable company normally come out and have to configure the modem?

There are some friends of mine that have a motor route (newspaper delivery) and a piece of the fuse box melted and they have to replace it. How hard is it to replace? and How long on average does it take? and is it easy enough anyone can do it? I would appreciate help, thank you.

I have (er, had) a computer, don't know the specifics on it, at the moment, it has windows xp professional. The power supply burned out about a week and a half ago, and now I would like to recover stuff I had saved off of the hard drive. Can I do it myself?, If so what steps do I need to take? Thank you in advance for your help.
