2 of 3 Falls or One Fall? Which do you prefer?
Under old NWA rules, World Heavyweight Championship matches had to be 2 of 3 Falls matches. This allowed two wrestlers to carefully plan each fall in order to maximize the reaction from the fans. It also was an easy to way to give a challenger credibility (allow him to pin the champ) while having the Champion retain the title (win the other two falls).
Since then, the standard has been one fall matches. Certainly, there have been incredible one-fall championship matches in the last decade. However, there has also been a sharp rise in false finishes, interference, and DQs as a way to build the challenger's reputation while having the champion retain.

Question: Which type of championship match do you prefer: 2 of 3 falls, or 1 fall? Why?

14 AnswersWrestling1 decade agoHall of Fame announcement on ECW? Who will it be?
J.R. announced on RAW last night that they'd be making another WWE Hall of Fame announcement on ECW tonight. Who do you think it will be, considering they're announcing it during ECW?
Terry Funk? Inducting the Funk brothers with the Briscos would be very fitting, considering their long lasting feud.
Mick Foley? A legend in the hardcore business.
Bam Bam Bigelow? A former Wrestlemania headliner that prematurely passed away early last year.
Taz? ECW Champion turned WWE trainer and announcer?
Someone else? Who do you think, and why?
12 AnswersWrestling1 decade agoWhy is the WWE downplaying Jack Brisco?
While both Brisco brothers deserve spots in the Hall of Fame, why is WWE rewriting history by downplaying Jack and emphasizing Jerry so much?
Anyone that knows pre-80s wrestling knows that Jack Brisco was one of the biggest names in the business. In the midwest, particularly his home state of Oklahoma, Jack Brisco was synonymous with wrestling... even moreso than Danny Hodge. Jack won the 191-lb. NCAA Division I Championship for Okie State, while Jerry didn't do as well in college.
More importantly, Jack was the NWA World Champion for a combined more than two years. He traveled the country, and the world, and sold out arenas nationwide. Meanwhile Jerry toiled away with the Junior Heavyweight Championship, which few fans cared about.
Jack was ranked, unbelievably low, by PWI as the 67th best wrestler during the PWI years. The PWI years started well after Jack's prime. Jerry? 217.
So why is the WWE putting them on equal ground? To make one not feel bad? What are your thoughts?
7 AnswersWrestling1 decade agoWhich professional wrestling MASK do you like best?
I'm not asking about which masked wrestler you like best.
Instead, I'm asking which is your favorite mask, and why? Who do you think has the best colors or design or details or most meaningful mask, etc.?
If you can, post a link to a picture!
You could check out http://highspots.com/wrestling-masks.asp?id=49 to get started if your unfamiliar with lots of masked wrestlers.
25 AnswersWrestling1 decade agoWhere is the control for the power seatbelts?
I have a 1991 Honda Accord that recently went through some flooding. While the car starts and runs, the power seat belts no longer work. Does anyone known any remedies, or potentially which fuse it would be listed as?
Other information: everything else electrical works... the windows, sun roof, antenna, lights, turn signals, etc.

30 AnswersWrestling1 decade agoAll-time favorite title... (any promotion, era, singles or tag team, etc.)?
Three part question for everyone:
1) What is your favorite wrestling championship and why?
2) What wrestler(s) do you most associate with that title and why?
3) What is your favorite match in which that title was up for grabs and why?
This can be from any promotion, any era, and can be singles, tag-team, women's, etc. Any title.
Here's an example:
1) WWF Intercontinental Championship - In the pre-Attitude Era, the IC belt was a stepping stone to the World title, so wrestlers still busted their but when involved in IC title matches. IC title matches were ALWAYS better than World Title matches.
2) Mr. Perfect - The longest reigning IC Champ of the 90s! He held the belt for 280 days, and he held onto it tight! He was a great wrestler, even better on the mic, and had an awesome gimmick.
3) WrestleMania X - Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon: Ladder match. There were TWO IC title belts that night! The match was incredible, still one of the best Wrestlemania matches ever.

I think they told us this in driver's education, but I'm not sure if it was just a scare tactic. Also, I've seen it in movies and stuff. If anyone could provide if it's true that it happens, and if so, especially, then why.
