  • How do I use blu-tooth on my Windows XP Laptop?

I have a cell phone that I would like to connect to my laptop. My laptop appears to be blu-tooth compatible (it has the blu-tooth symbol, but it is not lit up). In the control panel there is no blu-tooth option. Do I need to purchase something to send/receive a blu-tooth signal? I believe I have Windows Service Pack 2 installed. Do I just need to install a program? (I have wireless network). Thanks for any help or websites!

  • What's it called when the military uses words "Charley" to say the letters "c"?

I'm sure you've all heard in a movie where there are some initials like SGC and instead of just saying "SGC" they use words for each letter "Serra Gulf Charley". What is this system called and is there a standard set of words used for this? A website explaining this? Thanks for your help!

  • What is this super bowl commercial?

A few years ago there was a super bowl commercial where they used (10?) things that make a great commercial. It had a guy that was going to fight a bear, then they danced, cheerleaders watched, and a few other things I can't remember right now. The point was to use the top things that make a great commercial (e.g. dancing animals, cheerleaders, etc...) Anyone know what they were advertising or where I can find it on youtube? Thanks!

  • What is the name of this Navel movie??

I am trying to make a list of movies I've seen and am doing pretty well (around 200 remembered so far!). Well, some time in the mid to late 90's I saw this navel movie on TV. Here's

    what I remember:

-The guy was in love (i think) with a girl on board

-I think he was being tested to see how good of a captain he was because everyone under him weren't professionals

-Near the end, a guy (looked like a pirate) couldn't fix some wires and had to hold them in his teeth to complete the circut

-He was offered a command and a real crew but decided to keep his rag-tag bunch

-While the credits rolled, the song "in the navy" by village people played (We want you, we want you, we want you, you don't want me, I'm afraid of the water!)

-I think the reason he was offered his own command is because he defeated a real enemy in what was suppose to be a test of his combat skills

-I think it was a sub, but it may have been a navel boat

    Thanks for any movie suggestions!

  • Would you give credit if...?

Someone gave you a funny answer, but it didn't help you? I see many questions out there, a bunch of funny answers, and a few good answers. We should be able to give credit for the funny ones too!! It may not solve our problems but at least it made us smile.

If you had to choose, would you give best answer to a really funny answer, or a helpful answer?

  • Help Please?

Ok, I've had my cell phone for about 2 years now but I still get calls from people I don't know, I guess trying to reach whoever had this number before (or just wrong number). Anyway, mostly it's people that speak Spanish calling me, and I don't speak that much Spanish. I would like to tell them they have the wrong number in Spanish but don't know enough to say it.

How do I say I'm sorry you have the wrong number in Spanish? Please let me know in the Spanish that is spoken in Mexico, I know there's a difference between it and Spanish spoken in Spain. Thanks!

  • What should I do for my 21st birthday??

This friend of mine keeps asking me what I'm going to do for my 21st, and it's still 4mo away. I almost never plan that far ahead... but I started thinking about what would make a great 21st B-day. Any suggestions?

  • Would you rather be told what you want to hear or...?

Would you rather be told what you want to hear, or what you need to hear? I mean some people just like to be told what they want to hear if it makes them feel good. If I answered a Q you posted on Yahoo Answers would you rather me say:

    A. Something clever that made you rofl but wasn't any help or

    B. Something that you might not like to hear but would be helpful overall? Maybe there is a choice "C" so if you think of it let me know.

So take your pick, funny and worthless (besides it made you laugh) or serious and helpful (but might make you angry)
