A friend and his wife are moving and cannot take their American Bulldog with them. He has papers, shots, etc. and is a sweet, loving lug of a guy. Excellent with children and strangers. Anyone know of a rescue resource in Southern California or a clearing house where he can be adopted out to a certifiably good family? Thanks.

George is about 7 years old, an outdoors cat, who I found this morning with a bunch of phlegm on his lower lip and his tongue slightly hanging out. When I tried to get him in my arms he uncharistically ran into overgrowth at neighbor and I lost sight of him. Later in the afternoon he came to me and crawled into my lap with phlegm still on lower lip and tongue about an 1/16 of an inch hanging out. When I got up to get cat carrier out of car he disappeared into growth. Did not feel feverish and did not seem to be in pain or lethargic. Any thoughts?

I had my sound card stolen from inside the tower of my HP so I hooked up the external powered speakers but all of a sudden no sound. Everything looks connected still. Any ideas?

As it happens, he has a real talent in color selection, design style and does a superb job technically. He continues to get work by word of mouth but I suggest to him that he needs a local website of some sort to grow his business. Can anyone suggest how he would go about establishing a website when he and his wife are not computer literate to a great extent? Thanks.

Perhaps an evil helper of the above with really BIG ambition thinks the more lives ruined the better in the promotions department.

I think mother's in general sacrifice so much for their children that even when they have serious personal problems, they still try to do something memorable in a positive way for their children. This could be a tearjerker but I think it is good to thank mom for the stuff she does or tries to do on our behalf.

It has a velvet cover with an ivory rendering of a woman in a toga with a garland of leaves around her head. The word "Tennyson" is also in ivory. It is missing the first few pages but it starts with page 4 "Poems." In parentheses is the date (published 1830). However other poems are published later. There are black and white lithograph-like illustrations throughout. One depicts Sir Galahad leading over a container and pulling up water with his hand. It is interior and attacked to a pole. The last lengthy poem is "Despair." There is a kind of addendum "To Virgil" It says prior to the poem "Written at the request of the Mantuans for the nineteenth centenary of virgil's death." I do not know if this is a complete works or not. Anyone have any insight?
