I had a friend from france a long time ago and she used to tell me that her favorite dish was this casserole her mother made. I can't remember the name of it, all I remember is that it was mainly bread and tomatoes. I can't remember anything else about it except that they never put meat in it. I think you could, they just never did. Any ideas about what this is? I'd ask her but she isn't around anymore. THANKS.

I have this salon I want to go to. But there are two stylists who sound like they have the right background to me.

One specializes in short hair cuts. But the other studied and owned a shop in Japan for a while, but she specializes in coloring and special effects (I don't know what "special effects" mean).

I want to get a short Japanese style haircut. But I don't know which stylist to pick.

You can contact them via email. Are you aloud to write them and ask them to send you samples of their work, so you can decide from there? Or do you look like a snoby person talking to both of them like that, since they work together?

I was just wondering about this, I am seeing more and more dvds pop up that say "All Region" . Does this really mean that these dvds are compatable on any dvd player anywhere in the world? Like how you can buy a CD from Asia and have it work in America, will an "all region" dvd bought in asia work in america as well?

I just want to better understand, before I actually purchased any. Are we finally getting universal dvds? OR is this one of the ways people get you to buy something even though it won't work where you live?

I recently recieved a Nintendo DS and know very little about the kinda of games you can get for them. But I was hoping there would be some language course games you could play on it. I am really interested in learning Korean, and Japanese. Its just for fun, not for professional use or anything, just as a stepping stool to actually becoming proficient in the lanugages later on somewhere down the line. So do they make language games for the DS?

Also, is there like an online catalog or something I can look through to see what other kinda of games you can get? THanks so much.

A language degree and a linguistics degree.

According to what I can find, I can either major in Social Studies and get a Linguistics Degree. OR major in Liberal Arts and get a Language degree. But I can't really find out what exactly defines the two.

I know a few people that use twitter but they keep saying "I don't twitter, I am just trending" what exactly does "just trending" mean?

I am deathly afraid of snakes. I am talking, I go into hysterics and run into glass doors trying to get away from them kinda scared. And it just so happens that this year the house I live in and property surrounding it is infested with them. I don't care about being humane to them. I don't want to trap them and then release them else where. I wanna kill them and scare them so bad that they tell all their friends not to come with in 100 yards of the place.

So what can I put out around and under my house to keep snakes away. All snakes poisonous, non poisonous and all the ones in between. I know about moth balls already. But is there some other stuff I can put down or wear on my person to keep them away. Thank you so much. I am my front door thank you.

I've had this bedroom set for about 3 years, but it still smells like the prior owner's cheap perfume. You know the kind that floral with a hent of moth ball scent. I have tried washing them, and putting little bags of coffee in them, like you do wih potpourri only better since I can't stand floral smells or anything like that. I've tried febreze but still it smells like musty flowers and moth balls. So what is left to do?

I live in america and love Asian music but they don't sell my favorite bands here. So I figured I'd get them from ebay, amazon and other places like that. But I don't know if Asian cds will work in my american cd player and computer. So I was hoping if someone here could tell me if they would, or if there is some type of adapter I have to buy?

I want actual cds, not just mp3 song, I like having all the stuff that comes with cds. So all I need to know is if they will work or not. Thanks a bunch.

ok, so in my office building we have a postage stamp and postage lable machine up on the top floor. So that we don't have to drive to the post office. So I am a little confussed about flat rate boxes.

We have a stack of the flat rate boxes in our office, I thought that I just dropped my package in one closed it up and dropped into the out going mail stuff. But when I did that I had a box sit there for 2 days, until someone else put a postage label on it. I thought since we had the stack of boxes that we had already paid for the box there for didn't need any shipping label of the kind.

So should I start putting postage labels on all the flat rate boxes I ship out?

Or is the other person just double paying the postage company?

i bought a new computer, downloaded all my stuff onto it. After a month it broke, the store refunded me by replacing it. But the deal was they take it on the spot otherwise I was SOL.

I hadn't any back ups for that computer yet and I am constantly updating new things on my computer so my old cd i used on the computer I was replacing wouldn't have had half of my information on it. So I had to buy a flash drive from the store and do it (the back up) right there. (they said they could have done it for me, but it would have cost WAY too much money.)

So the flash drive tells me it has everything downloaded successfully , it didn't even use a full GB because, yeah I have alot of stuff, just not THAT much. So I was in the green since I bought a 4 GB flash drive. It tells me everything is backed up on there, and I am ready to turn over my computer.

I take the flash drive and my new replacement computer home and plug in the flash drive to download everything onto my shiny new toy. And run into a massive problem. Trying to get it to download was (putting it nicely) a pill.

It said it downloaded everything onto my new computer fine, but then looking in my libraries nothing was there. I tried again and it still said it downloaded ok, but it didn't say where it put anything, and my libraries were still blank.

I finally opened up a page that told me what was on the flash drive and then manually moved files from the flash drive, into a large file on my computer. And then went about moving everything from the large file into the proper library (picture files in the picture library, music files in the music library ect). only to find afterwards, that a lot of my documents were still missing.

Example: i pulled my family picture file from the flash dive, and put it into the large file on my computer, and then transfered the family file into the picture library on my computer. Going back to look at my family pictures file , I had an empty file except for 1 picture.

*They aren't in other files, or anything.

* I have tried doing a *.jpg search on my whole computer, and still can't find my missing stuff.

Is there something I need to try with my flashdrive to get it to work properly? any tips on what to try?

I know for a fact that I didn't download too much onto the flashdrive, because it still says I have over 3 GBs left to fill on it.

Why is Dustfinger so protective of Meggie? In the movie when Basta is about to threaten her Dustfinger grabs him and starts to set him on fire. Then later when he sees her about to reach into the fire and pull out the Wizard of OZ he stops her and grabs it for her.

Is there a reason for this that the book explains and the movie didn't capture? (If so, what is it?)

Or is he just being nice since she is a kid an all?

My cousin is opening a buissness, and he asked if I could help him out with building and maintaining a website and online orders, that sorta of thing. The only problem is, I don't know how to do any of that. So does anyone know how a website or someplace that I can learn how to do that? Particularly a free place to do it.

I have to buy a computer and I want to get a webcam but I don't know which is better, a computer with the webcam installed into it. Or one that I buy and just attach to it.
