About 6 weeks ago we discovered a lump on his hind leg. It went away and then all of a sudden it came back but hugh over night. He has licked it raw of no fur and now it is draining a slimy puss like liquid. It was a massive amount of this liquid that came out of this thing and it is still draining alittle bit here and there now. Our vets is closed till tomorrow and I can't do anything till then. I have to keep him off the furniture and my ed now because of this! Would anyone know what this is? Don't critisize me for asking this question! I am looking for some sort of help till I can get him to the vets for treatment. I am not heartless either. He doesn't seem to be in pain and he is eatting and drinking and useing the cat box with out a problem. I just need to find out what to do till my vets is open tomorrow!!

My 6 yr old daughter who is in first grade is having some behavior issues in school. The teacher is sending notes home everyday about this. I have also stopped in and spoke to her as well. It seems my daughter is not paying attention in class and doesn't want to finish her work. Her grades are Awsome and I don't understand how the teacher can say this. For the past week now my daughter has been crying and wants to stay home with me and says she hates school. We have gotten 4 different stories in 3 day from my daughter on what is bothering her. Now the school social worker is involved. I told her whats going on and she was going to speak to the teacher and see whats happening. The weird part of all this is that this has happend in the past with Pre-K and Kindergarten at this same time of the year! I am baffeled to what is causeing this and I can't figure out the problem! I broke down this morning and cried cause I don't know how to handle this! Please Help!!

For the last 2 weeks my 6 yr old daughter has been fighting us on getting up for school. She claims she is tired and wants to stay in bed. School starts at 7:45 and I get her up at 6 Am. Her sister gets up with out a problem. This morning she refused to get out of bed. We have tried everything to get her out of bed. She has lost watching her TV to her cheerleading and she still continues to do this!! She is in bed at 7 and won't fall alsleep till about 9. sits in bed and plays and talks to herself. I am at a total lose on what to do! She plays outside and it doesn't seem to wear her out! Any ideas on what to do to get her to go to sleep when she goes to bed?

My one yr old beagle seems like our cats food over her own! Not sure why. She gets the moist dog food in the morning and loves that and she gets her own dry food during the day! But she pereres the cats food! Anyone know why this is? Her food and the cats food is the same size(small kibble size).

It seems my husband's doctor is confused! He had blood work done to to test everything and all his tests came back normal! Now he weighs 380 Lbs and his blood pressure is good and all his test results came back excellent. He test result scores do not add up to his weight. He eats like a bird and is very active outside and always moving! He is careful of what he eats too. We are confused at all of this. The doctor said he is healthy and she is just as confused as he is! They are talking about banding surgery to help bring the weight down and see what goes from that! It is only being talked about but is not out of the question!

So my question is Has anyone here gone through this and can give me some advice. I am not worried about the banding surgery! I just want to know who has been through the weight thing and still have excellent blood test and other lab test results?

She has had her tail between her legs since yesterday and seems very quite. Not much for play either. She will get excited but her tail stays between her legs.
