I have two beautiful little girls 5 and 1 both with my husband. He has a son from an earlier relationship. Anyway our two girls were both born with clefts that were not detected during the term. After the first was born we lost a child 18 mts later and never knew why, and concived or youngest 18 mts after that. The dr's said there was onlly a 3% chance of having another with a cleft. We had any and all test run including going to a specilist,nothing was found, but she too was born with a cleft and required surgery. If anyone else has been through a similar situation please tell me what happen' to you and your family and how you delt with it.

What would you say to a close friend who's mother died today, but they know you never liked their mother?

How many wives out ther have a husband who will tell them at least 1 time a day how greatful he is for all the things you do for him everyday and what a wonderful wife you are. My husband has never missed a day in over 6 years and I have also overheard him telling his friends how lucky he is to have me...I do have a wonderful loving husband...How about you?

I'v had 2 girls (5 &1) and my best friend of 12 years, has only seen my oldest girl twice, she lives in a different state,but she wants me to help give her a baby shower where she lives(5 hour trip). I don't know if I'm being childish or not by thinking that she shouldn't have asked me seeing how she hasn't even seen my youngest child. She has never sent a shower gift when I was having either of my kids, nor has she sent a b-day card for them or anything. Is she wrong to expect me to drop everything and go up to give her a baby shower or am I wrong for feeling like I do?

I have heard people talking about " a cousin twice removed", what does it mean to have a removed cousin?

My mom, who is also my best friend now, startted taking RX diet pills about a year ago. She had good reason to start, but now I think she may have a problem. She is a good person, pays her bills, stays out of conflict, but she is only suppose to take 1 a day and is up to about 6 a day. She has resently went through 150 pills in 2-3 weeks. Should I say something to her and if so what? I don't want her to think I'm judging her, but at the same time I am worried. All advice will be welcomed...Please Help!

I have a small pool for my girls, but after only 2 days the grass has a bad smell to it as well as the water. Do I need to put sand or any outher chemical under the pool so I can keep it in one spot?
