  • What could this container be?

We have come across a dark green container. It looks fairly old. It has Milan written on the sides and a few numbers; 67127, 67128, 67129, 67130. It also says that it is masse 82kg. And has a volume 0.383 it has handles on the side of it. I believe 4 on each side. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Thanks.

  • IUD copper coil in bladder, has anyone experienced this?

I had a copper coil fitted over three years ago. I fell pregnant a few months after this and so went for an ultrasounds to check that it was no longer in my uterus. The scan showed no coil so we believed that it had fallen out at some point hence me getting pregnant. My pregnancy went well and I had a beautiful baby girl (now 2 years old). Then about 6 months ago I fell pregnant again. A couple of months into pregnancy I had blood in my urine. The doctors and friends kept telling me that it was just water infections and I had antibiotics and more antibiotics...... However my water samples kept coming back saying I had no infection which then puzzled my doctor so he finally referred me to a urologist. Yesterday I went for a cytoscopy where they discovered that my coil that I thought had fallen out was actually in my bladder!!! I have never ever heard of anything like this before and the registrar was a bit baffled. Because I am pregnant they can't do an awful lot about it. I will have to wait until I have delivered baby. Has anyone else had a similar experience? How do they remove the coil? Thanks in advance, Teresa x

  • 19 weeks pregnant with blood present in urine, is this really normal?

I am 19 weeks pregnant and for the past couple of weeks I have had blood present in my urine. It isn't all the time. I have had urine tests done which indicate no infection. I have lower back ache and continually need the toilet. I am not sure if these things are connected or whether it is just due to being pregnant. My doctor said that it is normal during pregnancy but I have never heard anyone with this problem before. I am a little concerned and don't really know who I should turn to. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Teresa

  • why does my baby keep waking up at 3 in the morning?

My (almost) 5 month old baby keeps waking up at 3am and cooing to herself for over an hour every morning. It is getting pretty exhausting now. We just ignore her and eventually she goes back off to sleep. She is in a cot in our bedroom and we can't move her into her own room yet because I have my mum staying with us. Any advice would be brilliant. Thanks, Teresa

  • Do you think my baby will be born soon on your experiences?

I am 40 weeks pregnant (due today) and has a sweep yesterday where I was told that I am 2cm dilated. I had a show today and since then my contractions have started up although they are irregular and not strong. Has anyone else had a similar experience and if so when was your baby born? I have already had two children and they were both early so I am a bit frustrated that I have reached my due date. Thanks in advance.

  • How do they do a scan at 6 weeks pregnant?

I found out yesterday that I am pregnant and I need a scan asap because I became pregnant whilst using the IUD coil. The doctor wants them to check whether the coil is still in place. How do they perform the scan? A friend told me that it is an internal scan? Is this correct? Thanks.

  • Pregnant with the coil?

I had the copper coil (IUD) fitted in February and my last period was in July. In August I had a day where I had a bit of spotting. I have therefor not had a proper period in over a month. My periods before my one in July were every two weeks. I am a bit worried that I am pregnant but I realise that this would be very unlikely as I have the coil. Has anyone had the coil fitted and become pregnant?

  • Does the IUD sometimes make women's periods less heavy?

I had the IUD (coil) fitted almost two months ago and my last period was extremely light. Is this normal as I was told that it would probably do the exact opposite? Thanks.

  • toddler waking at night, any suggestions?

My 21 month old toddler is normally an excellent sleeper but for the past week she has been waking at least once during the night. we go into her and give her a cuddle and she goes back off to sleep. we have got a 4 month old baby that has just started to sleep through the night so it is quite annoying that our toddler is now waking again! do you have any suggestions as to why she is waking? we have absolutely no idea, there does not seem to be anything wrong with her. Thanks in advance.

  • how do I get my baby to sleep at night?

My baby is almost 6 weeks old and refuses to go down in her cot to sleep until the early hours of the morning. We are quite sleep deprived now and need some advice on how to get her to sleep. She also wakes every two to three hours for a feed at night (she is being breast fed), is this normal (as my first baby was sleeping 6 hours straight at 6 weeks old)? Thanks for your help.

  • any suggestions on how to induce labour?

I am almost 39 weeks preg and so want this baby out of me!!! My last baby was 8 days early. I thought that I was in labour last night as I was having contractions every five mins (for about 3 hours) but then I went to bed and when I woke they had stopped. This has happened the last few days now and I am just so fed up. Any suggestions welcome especially if they have worked for you. Thanks.

  • when did your second baby arrive?

I am just wondering if people's second babies tended to come early, late or on time. My first was 8 days early so am wondering what the chances are of this baby (I am 37 weeks pregnant) coming early. Thanks.

  • constant heartburn, is it normal?

I am 36 weeks pregnant and woke up this morning with what feels like heartburn. It is constant. I have taken some Rennie's but it is still there. I have opened my bowels three times already this morning (sorry if that's too much info). I don't feel quite right. Does it sound like heartburn or maybe a sickness bug of some sort? And is this normal. Last week the midwife said that my baby was 3/5 engaged so shouldn't the heartburn be dissapearing? Thanks for your help.
