4 AnswersVegetarian & Vegan8 years agohot water heater making popping sounds?
My hot water heater is making popping sounds when it is heating up the water. Sounds like popcorn popping inside it, but a little muffled. Been doing it for maybe 2 to 3 months. Anyone have any idea what is happening? Is it something to be worried about?
7 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs10 years agoWhat's a good brand of water filter?
I want to install a water filter system in my sink so I don't have to go buy water all the time. Anyone know a brand that gives you drinking water that's like or closest to bottled water? Prefer the ones you screw right onto the end of the faucet if there is one that is good, but if not, the under-sink ones will do if someone knows a good brand. Thanks
7 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoWhat can the bank do if I walk away from my home?
I'm able to pay the mortgage each month, but it kind of makes no financial sense to keep doing so. I can get a similar house to the one that I own now, and the payments will be just a little more than half of what I am currently paying on my house. If I get a second house and then just abandon my old house and let it go into foreclosure, what can the bank do? Can they garnish wages? Put liens on my new house, etc? Or is repossessing the house the most that a bank can do? I am in Riverside county in California. I have more credit cards than I will ever need, don't need any more new cars, so once I buy a second house, I don't need to care about my credit score any time in the near or even far future.

I just started using a memory foam liner on top of my regular mattress and my back is 100% better. Absolutely no more back pain. So what exactly is this memory foam stuff and how does it work? How is it different than just regular foam? All seems very mysterious, but somehow, it works.
3 AnswersOther - Health1 decade agoDo you really need antiviral software?
I've been on the internet since about 1997 and have been using either Norton or Zone Alarm for antiviral and firewall and what not. I download updates whenever they come out and scan my computers every week. NOT ONCE in all that time did the antiviral ever find anything. No viruses, worms, bugs, nothing. Nada. Is it even worth it to keep buying this stuff?
Seems like you need pop-up blockers a lot more than antivirus.
