  • Change in sleeping pattern for 2.10 yr old?

My daughter is nearly three and was an excellent sleeper until recently. She now wakes several times during the night and is unable to settle herself. As a result she has gone back to have a nap in the afternoon, something she hasn't done consistently for a long time. We have a new addition to the family who is 16 weeks but we have made certain to include the oldest in everything to prevent her feeling pushed out and anxious. However she has been suffering from constipation for a few months and I was wondering whether this could be having a knock on effect for her sleep patterns?

  • Issues with downloadable game on PS3?

I downloaded a game on my PS3 which required, If in disc format, the changing of disc part way through the game. However because I have downloaded it I obviously don't have the discs. It said in the playstation store that it was the full game not partial or trial. So it is very frustrating for me to have been playing a game that I now cannot complete. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what did you do about it? I have emailed playstation help and support today but wondered if there was anything I could do to put it right myself.

  • SPD or round ligament pain?

I am 33 weeks pregnant and over the last week or so have been getting quite severe pains in my groin on the left hand side. Its not in my hips or pelvis it feels more like its muscular pain as oppose to joint pain but its affecting my ability to walk and to do general day to day stuff. Any ideas what it could be and how to reduce pain levels? Paracetamol helps but obviously I don't want to take too much.

  • Pregnancy and insulin needs?

Hi all am currently 8 weeks with baby #1. Am struggling a bit with my sugars this week and could do with some help and advice. Initially it appeared that my insulin needs had gone up and I have increased my lantus from 22 to 30 units and I was managing to keep things fairly level with just a couple of 8.somethings mmols if I'd eaten a big evening meal. However this week my needs seem to have taken a massive drop and I've had at least one hypo everyday. They aren't too severe (I can deal with them by myself) and my symptoms are still noticeable, although its getting a little lower than it would usually before I feel it. Am monitoring my levels every couple of hours and eating something if need be. BF seems to thinks its cos baby will be taking more nutrients out of the food I'm eating so I need less insulin. Is this right? And are frequent mild hypos dangerous for developing bean?

  • My 6 month old kitten has diarrhoea. What could cause it?

I got my kittens from a rescue centre three weeks ago and the little girl has had bouts of quite bad diarrhoea since i got her. I started feeding her the same dry food that the cattery was feeding her but recently have switched to a different brand. She is still suffering from the upset tummy and has wind too. Yesterday I also noticed a small amount of mucusy blood in her poo. She has been wormed and has recently had her 2nd vaccinations. She is still eating and drinking well and is still very lively so am wondering what it could be. Her brother is fine and has had no problems at all so I don't think its anything infectious. Can't get her into the vets til tomorrow morning but wanted some advice rom other cat owners.

  • Suggestions on what to do now my husband has walked out?

My husband left me and although I'm gutted it was for the best as we haven't been getting on for ages. However we have a house together and i'm unsure what to do next. Should I buy him out and keep the house for myself (we have no children) or do we sell it and split the cash so we can go our own ways. Am really torn as to what to do next? Any ideas?

  • Cheap city breaks in uk?

My hubby and I have been going through some tough times recently and I'd like to take him away somewhere or do a spa break. We have a week off at the end of the month and I'd like to do it then. I don't have a huge volume of money so my budget is prob no more than £250. Does anyone have any suggestions of places to go or sites I could go to for inspiration?

  • Nerve root block procedure?

I had a nerve root block procedure last wednesday because of a herniated disc (L5 S1) that has been agony for several years causing lower back pain and serious leg pain too. Now i know the nerve block is more for the leg pain than the back pain and it was great for the first couple of days. However the leg pain has started to come back with a vengeance. Now does this mean that the nerve root block has failed or is it quite common to have some residual pain initially?
