Should I wait until January 2009 to list my house?
I am taking a new position in my company which requires relocation within 5-6 months. We have met with 4 realtors, 3 which say it doesn't matter just list it now, and one who says to list in January after the holidays to minimize the DOM. We have asked each realtor for competitive market analysis and two are in the high end and two are telling us to list at a price we would take a loss on after closing costs. I am concerned that with many house in my area lasting 120-160 DOM or longer, we would just waste time by not listing now. On the other hand, we may have to take less to make our price more attractive selling in January. Looking for some advice-head spinning
3 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoCan you deduct all or just some vehicle expenses when you are paid a fixed fixed auto allowance in box 1?
I get paid an allowance in box 1 as taxable income. My employer pays for all business gas. Can I still deduct repairs, insurance, etc?
1 AnswerUnited States1 decade agoMy little electrical wizard....?
Hey I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas that I could do with my 7 yr old regarding electricity. We have made buzzers go off, lit leds and tiny lightbulbs, made the bell ring that sort of thing. But I'm out of ideas. We have little motors, tons of batteries, and several other bits and pieces. Anyone know of any websites for electrical experiemnts for kids, or ideas, how to put those things mentioned in a series? It's his "thing", he has taken every electrical toy he owns apart, not to mention a computer, phone, and many other things. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks.
