I'm getting a strange loop of "Found New Hardware MPT Player) and it keeps popping up with the "pop" sound. There is no sign of it on the My Computer page and I can't update the Firmware as the computer doesn't seem to know it exists. Please help!!!

Why do people talk slower and louder to blind people? I'm legally blind and people seem to think they have to talk slower and louder. Just wondering. (For those who will ask: I have a screen reader and magnification software. I can still use a computer.)

Why is discrimination based on sex bad unless those being discriminated are men, making it good? Why is the double standard there? Lions clubs are legally required to be co-ed but Lioness clubs are still women only. Why are men discriminated against in the name of progress?

I was watching Dr. Phil today, and a woman wanted to sell her posessions to get treatments that MIGHT help her get pregnant. I understand that adoption is expensive too, but it's more certain than treatments. Why is that not an option for so many people?

I am legally blind and am currently on disability support. I have an oportunity to train to become an Independant Living Skills Teacher, but I am currently playing in a band who is picking up steam and getting more and more gigs. We are also going to put out our 3rd CD early next year. If I choose to train, I'll be leaving in September for 8 months and leaving the band, again, to pursue a job. The last time I did it, the band suffered. Should I stay or should I go and why? HELP!!!

I'm learning the bass part for "Take Five" by Paul Desmond and am having a tough time learning the chord progression for the "B". The first part is easy - Dm A (repeat 8 times) LOL.

If I wore a 32" waist, I could get long legged pants. Because I wear a 48" waist, I'm stuck with short legs. At 6'4", that's really noticeable.

Why can't we just get over ourselves and laugh a little. I make blind jokes all the time. I also make fat jokes too. Being fat and blind - should I be mad at myself? Should I sue myself for defimation of character? Should I have an article featured in Yahoo! as a bad person? Get over it!!!

I have a vinyl record release of AC/DC Back in Black and the track order is wrong on the cover. Is this an anomaly or is the cover different than the record for a reason?

I watch a lot of shows about makeovers and it seems the VAST majority of women are scared when it comes to hair. I've seen people cry, scream, and seek counselling before, during, and after a hair cut. Ive seen one man ask if it will look good, but the rest of the men said go to it. I'm trying to fine the least effective record cleaner for the best price. I don't want to buy commercial cleaners. I've heard that windshield wiper fluid is pure and doesn't leave any residue. Has anyone else heard that nad could that work?

For gyms, scholarship programs, service groups, etc. Why is it considered sexist to have an all male group, but progressive to have an all female group? It's still isolation by gender!

1 - Why do you say you want a 'nice' guy when you go out with the 'bad boy'?

2 - Why do you say the mind is more important than the looks and turn around and go out with the model with an IQ of 80?
