This person was wrong on ALL levels and I let them know.....I then asked for an apology & it went something like this: "This continuous back and forth stuff is driving me crazy. Whatever I did or whatever you say happened. I’m sorry. If I ruined your day I’m sorry. I’m really sorry." and now they won't talk to me because I asked them for an apology. Am I missing something here? What is so hard about saying sorry? You say it & move on. Ugh.

I work in an office where we have a refrigerator. If you use the refrigerator you must agree to clean it. We have so many employees using it that normally each person is required to clean it about once every 6 months. A co-worker, whom I consider my friend, wanted to put something in the refrigerator and asked me if she could put my name on her food item. I told her that was fine as I was under the impression that it was going to be a one time occurrence. Now this friend puts my name on all of her items in the refrigerator without my permission or knowledge. She also makes herself at home to items I keep on my desk such as lotion, tissues and plastic cutlery without my permission. I know that these items are not necessarily expensive but she makes more than double my salary...shouldn't she purchase her own items? I would like for her to stop doing this but I am unsure how to approach her, about this issue without causing a rift between us. Please help & thanks.
