i recently had a house fire, and there are a few wooden items that werent burned that i would like to keep, but they smell strongly of smoke. does anyone know how i can reduce or eliminate the smell?

my neighbor just came across a small cast iron stove. the name on the front is ok romeo (i think the ok is short for oklahoma). its a no.7. i havent been able to find any info about it online. anyone know anything about them? thanks

i just bought a 2007 grand cherokee. suddenly my brake lights have stopped working. and when this happens the brake warning lights on the dash light up. it looks as if the previous owner may have used the jeep for towing and possibly messed with the wiring. any suggestions on what i can try? thank you

i have to move a fridge, and have no choice but to lay it on its side. only moving it about 10 miles, so wont be that way long. how long do i need to let it stand upright before i can use it?

ive seen on tv, a kitchen knife holder that hangs on a wall, and appears to be a magnet. the knives hang there. i would love to find one of these. does anyone know what im talking aobut and if so where can i find one. none of the stores in my area have them.

at my old house, in central ky, there was a vine growing like wild in my yard. the blooms were five petaled, white, and very fragrant. very much like jasmine. it was climbing in trees and along fences. (wish i had taken a start when i moved). does anyone know what this may have been, as i would love to have some more.

i have found clumps of what i think is called 'star of bethlehem' in my back yard. they look like grass but have a some what waxy feel and a yellow stripe. is it easy to transplant and if so, does it prefer sun or shade? thanks alot for any help.

does anyone know any humane ways to get rid of possums, besides trapping them. i have two very unfriendly ones hanging around my yard, and one may be pregnant. i would like to just run them off.
