How do you explain the concept of death to a 5-year-old? My son thinks our pet hamster is going to wake up and be OK. I would really appreciate any advice/feedback on this. I don't know what to say to him. He knows the hamster is dead but I don't think he fully understands what that means.

The *nurse* at my (5-year-old) son's pediatrician's office told me to use nail polish remover to get the sticky leftover adhesive from a band-aid off of my son's skin. This does not sound safe or healthy to me. Could some healthcare professionals confirm for me if this is right or not? Actually I would appreciate anyone's imput. I've never heard of that before. I know this question sounds stupid but when I tell people I have a cold I always hear "It could be allergies." I know the cold is the rhinovirus and an allergy is not a virus. My question is, are there different symptoms for a cold vs. allergies? I really don't think I am allergic to anything but I am curious about how people come to that conclusion.

I was wondering if anyone has ever had a problem with Pantry Pests, those ugly tan colored moths that usually hang out in your kitchen, and what can you do to get rid of them? I guess they are also known as Indian Meal Moths. I don't know where they are coming from (there are a few of them flying in each of the rooms in the house) but they are really annoying.

OK I went on an interview on my b-day August 10th for a job I really want. The following Monday (8/14) I had a second interview with the same company for the same job. I had an employment test right after that interview. One day later the Human Resources Manager told me they were down to a couple of candidates and needed references. The next day the human resources manager went on vacation and won't be back until August 28th. She left an emergency call number for another person in human resources on her voicemail. Do you think I should call that emergency number and ask what is going on with the job? I haven't heard anything and I am going crazy over here. I am worried that I lost the job. I don't want to hurt my chances by being too pushy, but I don't want to lose the job either. What would you do? Thanks for your opinions and advice.

Even though I had a hunch that this was a scam e-mail, I thought maybe someone opened an account in my name and I contacted my local Chase representative. She told me the e-mail was bogus but some people unfortunately are taken by it.

Hi everyone, I have a large video clip (690 MB) that I have downloaded onto my hard drive. Not only does the clip not play, but I cannot delete it either. When I right click it and hit delete I get this message:

"Cannot delete (filename): it is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again."

There are no programs running it. I don't know why it won't delete. Does anyone know what is going on? Has anyone ever had a problem like this? How can I delete this file? Help!! I need to get rid of it. Thank you!
