Does anyone know where I can get an "echidna ball" in Australia? I want the one with the 300 ml. circumference
KMart used to stock them, but not now. Our dogs love them, and don't want to accept a substitute.
1 AnswerDogs1 decade agoI'm trying to remember an Agatha Christie title.?
In it, a young man is on the run. He is helped by a young girl... 16 or so.... who drives an old car. She goes to see a china mender in pursuit of clues and I think a brown coat is also involved.
1 AnswerBooks & Authors1 decade agoI am allergic to just about every shampoo known to man or woman. Can you recommend any others?
I can use most shampoos 3 or 4 times, but then the itching comes back. It isn't dandruff, and nothing shows, but my head itches terribly. After a couple of days, this improves, but by then my hair needs washing again. I have tried Sebitar and similar products, unperfumed shampoo base (worked for a while), Mastey (worked for a few months!) various soaps (either don't work or make my hair impossibly dry) Oatmeal based shampoo for dry skin (worked for three days). I have worked out that I'm allergic to sodium laureth sulphate (sp?) which is in most shampoo, and also to perfumes. Obviously, there is something else as well, since Mastey has no SLS. I suspect I'm also allergic to palm oil.
The best result I had was shaving my hair off in a Number 3 crop. That was great, but my husband got tired of people asking if I had cancer.
Does anyone have useful suggestions? By the way, I am middle-aged and female, and this problem has lasted now for years. Doctors just suggest allergy pills!
10 AnswersHair1 decade agoWhat is the verbal form of the noun "surveillance"?
It almost seems to be "to survey", but that's not quite right. "To keep surveillance" isn;t right either, since "keep" is a verb but "surveillance" itself is a noun. And it sure isn't "to surveil"!
