I have irregular periods and I haven't had one since this December. I am trying my best by exercising and cutting down on calories to lose weight. By chance earlier this week I checked my fasting sugar and it was above 100. I never had this before, I have been checking it since then and it's always above 100. My family says it's because of the irregular periods.

Does irregular periods cause abnormal sugar levels?

Could you please tell me ways to induce my periods? I am trying not to eat any medicines because my physician says it's not healthy.

My husband and me want to do something special for our anniversary and this year we have decided to take a small vacation. Could you please tell us something that we could do in Oregon? We are new to the area and do not know much.

My husband was diagnosed with diabetes around 6 months ago. His A1C reading was 7.2. The doctor said it was very high and prescribed him Metformin HCL. I asked him to change his lifestyle. From the day he was diagnosed he has started exercising in elliptical for an average around 55 minutes at level 14. He also reduced his calorie intake by like 1000 calories. He has lost 13 pounds. My husband is 6 foot 8 inches tall. And he weighs 270 lbs.

When the doctor diagnosed him he was very determined to reduce his A1C. So we bought a A1C machine. But today we checked his A1C and its has not reduced by even a point. We checked his A1C in August middle and found it to be 6.6 and today we checked it again. It remains the same.

For the past two months his fasting blood sugar has stayed with 110mg/dl. Two to two and half hours after lunch and dinner his sugar always stayed less than 150mg/dl.

Could you please tell me why his A1C has not reduced? My second question is I was told by the doctor that his fasting blood sugar should be less than 100mg/dl but even though he lost his weight and is eating healthy it stays within 110 does not come below 100. Why is that?

I had added a password in my computer but I forgot my password. I have tried all the combinations. Is there any way to reset the computer so that it forgets my password.

I have connected all the speakers in my computer and also checked them twice. I also see that when I play a youtube video, in the small speaker tab (near the time in the taskbar) when I click it there is a green light running up and down signifying sound. Again I also went to device manager, volume control options and tested it... It says everything works fine. But I am not able to hear sound

I have been married for two and half years now and my husband and I are looking forward to expand a family. But whenever we try to have sex, my husband's penis is hard but not hard enough that it could penetrate. Sometimes he cums too soon and hence cannot penetrate. I am planning on investing in mutual funds in a year. I was just looking into www.finance.google.com and I found out that whenever I click any fund there is a section of minimum investment. I would like to know what minimum investment means. For eg: initial is $2500, additional is $50 etc for fund called Aston value N but for certain funds like PIMCO stock plus TR (PSTIX) they have intial investment as 1,000,000. So i was not sure whether that is the investment of the company or the minimum amount you have to pay.

My second question is how do I find the exit and entry fee for a particular fund

My last question is how do I find out the initial cost of a particular fund. In India, all the funds when first entering into market cost 10Rs i.e 20cents..... and then after entering their NAV is determined. So what is the entering value of fund.

Could you please also explain what is NAV.
