If the presidential limit is 2 terms (4 years each term) how was it that FDR was able to run and get elected for a third term?

I heard once that if we are in a declared war that the president can run for a third term but I don't know if that is true or not.

and if so how? by shutting down your truck? by lowering your speed?

I look around and it seems like everyone and his brother are on one medication or another...either for depression, allergies, birth control, pain killers, headaches etc.

Is it just me or is this nation becoming all drugged up? There are times when I feel that I am the only one who doesn't have a prescription bottle in my medicine cabinet.

I heard on the radio that 53% of Americans are now on some form of welfare. I was trying to find something that supports this. Does anyone have any sites that can back it up or do you have another percentage of how many Americans are on welfare?

With all of the illegal immigrants coming into America why not extend our boarders down to include part of Mexico. Most want to be a part of the U.S anyway. It would add land to the U.S (not to mention the extra taxes) and then they can stay in that area and still be part of the U.S. Anyone want to comment on this?

There is a rumor that my great grandfather may have been in either in jail or prison. This would of been back in 1930s to the 1940's sometime. He has been deceased since the 1970's.
