Help! I'm currently planning an auction in Seattle and need to get auction items quick!?
I am from a non-profit organization and am currently working on our biggest fundraising auction of the year. This is my first time ever planning an auction and although I helped out last year, I'm feeling overwhelmed more than ever.
Last year we had over 60 items and this year we only have 20 at this very moment!
What sorts of businesses in Seattle are very willing to donate items towards an auction at last minute?
Thank you so much in advance!

For the credit card, any good student deals?
3 AnswersCredit7 years agoIs 3 Mbps fast enough?
I currently have internet from Comcast Xfinity that is waaay faster than 3 Mbps and I pay about 50 bucks a month for that (50 mbps download and 10mbps upload).
There is a cheaper option for like $30/mo but it runs at 3 Mbps download and 768 kbps upload.
Would that be fast enough to check email, Facebook, youtube, stream netflix, do school work?
Thoughts?
3 AnswersComputer Networking8 years agoOther than Federal Loans, what bank or credit union is the best for private student loans?
I realize people always say private student loans are the last thing you should do but I'm in a bit of a bind with school and was hoping I could get a private student loan. I have looked a few banks already like Chase Student Loan.
What are the pros and cons of private student loans?
Do you guys have any suggestions on the best place to go for them?
Is it hard to pay off the loans?
Is it best to defer payment until after college or go with interest payment only plan?
I just need a basic overview!
Thank you!
1 AnswerFinancial Aid8 years agoDo I just renew my passport?
I'm going to Panama in August and I need to renew my passport. It was issued in Feb. 2009. And i was born in 1993. So at the time I was 15 years old. According to this: http://travel.state.gov/passport/forms/ds82/ds82_8...
I can only renew it if I was over 16 years old. Does that mean, since I was only 15, I have to apply for a new passport and NOT just renew?
3 AnswersPacking & Preparation8 years agoFinancial aid questions?
I have a couple questions about Financial Aid and FAFSA.
First off, would it be best to email the FAFSA people and ask my questions or should I go to my schools financial aid office.
I'm currently a Freshman in college and am preparing information for FAFSA 2013-2014. Last year, my parents were together and we placed both their incomes on the FAFSA form. However, this year my parents are separated and are working on the divorce papers this year.
Will my parents being separated attribute at all to my financial aid?
Also, I primarily live with my father. Would I be able to just mark my fathers income information on my FAFSA and not my mother's since I live primarily with my father?
Can anybody help me with this?

Perhaps a place where you don't have to sign up for anything or deal with pop-ups and not download anything.
3 AnswersDrama9 years agoMy iPod Nano (6th gen.) won't let me add songs? Keep getting Error 13019?
I have an iPod Nano 6th generation and I am attempting to add songs/sync songs to it. However, every time I try a message pops up saying that. "Cannot sync to iPod. An unknown error occured (Error 13019)". What does that mean? And how do I fix it? I'm trying to refrain from restoring my iPod.

4 AnswersFashion & Accessories9 years agoCan I take a course at a community college in the summer between my university years?
I will be going to a University in the Fall and will do the typical academic year (Fall, Winter, Spring) and then go back home for Summer. But I was wondering if I can go to my local community college and take a couple prerequisite classes for my university such as Psychology or Sociology? Then transfer those credits back to my university.

2 AnswersHigher Education (University +)9 years agoAt what point do these lines intersect?
Without using a calculator, how can I determine when y=x^3 and y=4(4x)^(1/3) equal eachother?
I normally use a calculator but I'm suppose to do it without one. I completely forgot how to do this. I know I set them equal to each other: x^3=4(4x)^(1/3)
But what is the next step?
1 AnswerHomework Help9 years agoFind the volume of the solid generated by revolving the region bounded by y=sqrt x and the lines y = 2?
Find the volume of the solid generated by revolving the region bounded by y=sqrt x and the lines y = 2 and x = 0 about:
the line x=4
How do I do this? Do I subtract the 4 from inside the function? I.e. sqrt(x-4)? Or do I add it? How exactly do I do this using Circular Cross Sections? NOT Cylindrical (we haven't learned that yet).
1 AnswerMathematics9 years agoFind the volume of the solid generated by revolving the region boudned by the parabola y = x^2 and the line?
Find the volume of the solid generated by revolving the region boudned by the parabola y = x^2 and the line y=1 about
(a) the line y = 1
(b) the line y = 2
(c) the line y = -1
How do I do this?
(a) is supposed to be 15π /16
(b) is 56π /15
(c) is 64π /15
How do I account for the lines?
I'm using the Circular Cross Sections method right now. I saw some people subtract the line from the radius part of the integral [i.e. π ∫ ((x^2 + 1)-1)^2 dx]. Does that work? When i tried that I kept just getting the integral of π * x^5/5 (because the +1 - 1 cancels out and i'm left with finding the integral of x^2.
Help please!
3 AnswersMathematics9 years agoWhat is AP Chemistry equate to in college?
I took AP Chemistry last year and got a 3 on my AP Test. However, for the school I'm most likely going to, it doesn't give me any credit (I need a 4 or higher).
I plan on taking Chemistry in College. Is AP Chemistry similar to level 100 chemistry in college? Like are the concepts similar?

1 AnswerCell Phones & Plans9 years agoWhat does the limit of (2^h -1)/h as h approaches 0 equal?
In the back of my Calculus book it says the answer is ln(2). I'm not entirely sure how to get that.
I tried taking the ln of (2^h -1)/h and I got to ln(2^h -1)
Am I doing this right?
