So I applied to some in state schools like Millersville, West chester University, and indiana university of PA. I wanted to apply to one school out of state and I cant think of any with really good music programs (I am majoring in music education). I used a college search and the university of kansas, and vanderbilt university came up. Could anyone tell me if either of these schools has a good music program? If I was not clear eneough I live in Pennsylvania so if you know of any schools with good music programs please just list some below.

Men and women are given 30 seconds to complete as many math problems as they can and are being measured for how many problems they can accuratley solve. the idea is that men will be able to complete more problems faster and more accuratley then women because they have a larger inferior parietal lobule. I know the fingering but I can not get the note to sound. It's very frustrating because I have a really big solo in this slow song. Everything sounds great and I even added circular breathing and vibratio so its almost flawless. However there is an octave jump from middle F# to the really high F# and theres always a 50/50 chance the high F# will sound. I have been adjusting my embrouchre and pushing the air faster because thats what my director told me to do but it's still hit or miss at this point. PLEASE HELP!!!!

I have been playing the clarinet for about 3 years and I have noticed some notes sound very airy. the Middle Bb, a, and g sound the worst, will this go away with practice or do I need a new mouthpiece? It's just frustrating because I play alto sax too and im really good at it and I thought this would be a simple transfer. Also my clarinet is a student model bundy would that have anything to do with it.

I have been studying wicca for quite a while now but I still have a lot of questions. My main question is when are rituals performed and what exactly is a ritual. I guess my biggest question is when are these rituals practiced and can I make my own. Is there a certain way I should do a ritual or should I make my own rituals?

My clarinet is just awful it's a student model bundy and all around its a pretty bad clarinet. Im going to try and get it repaired to see if I can avoid getting a new one for a year or so. However I would like to buy a new one before I go off to college so are there any brands you would recommend. I was thinking about either an allora clarinet or a buffet however I cant get a top of the line one my budget will probably allow me to get an intermediate clarinet and thats if I save up and can afford that next year.

I have decided I really want to go into music education however I still am interested in a performance major. I realize there are no steady employments with that major but i'm really interested in the Curtis institute or Berkley I play alto sax, Bb clarinet, piano, and I just started singing. First question is does the Curtis institute take sax players because I am the best at sax but I could audition on something else if i needed to. Second question is if I manage to get into one of these schools do most of their graduates go on to be performers and actually obtain jobs, or should I go with a Education major and a minor in performance?

So I was raised catholic but I never really agreed with their teachings. I have been doing some research on the internet and found that I would like to read some books because I find them more helpful. I am really interested in Modern Pagan religions but I would like to read books on many religions. Thanks for the help.

I have a bit of a problem right now. Basically I have been taking French in school for two years but it wont work in my schedule next year. I really want to learn at least one if not to foreign languages. I have been looking into Rosetta Stone and it really looks like it will work. I need to get some money to afford it but that's another story. Basically what language would you learn because I am stuck. I am interested in Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin), German, Welsh, and Irish. Any thoughts, I basically want to know what languages would be rare because if they are dying and so few speak them I would rather not spent $200 to learn a nearlydead language.

I am in high school and need a job but don't want a shitty job. My friend gives dance lessons to little kids and she is a Senior so I thought that I could give saxophone lessons. I want to be a teacher and I am a good player also it's better then any minimum wage job. So could I teach beginner lessons or do you have to go to College for that.

Well it's midterm time and as always I tend to get panicky. I study for them at least a week in advance but I looked online to check my grades. It's not going so well and I want to know if anyone has some studying tips or if I can even do anything. I was getting A's and 1 B in eighth grade but now I am starting to see more and more C's. The subjects I struggle in are Math and English and I used to do quite well in English. I also want to major in either history or Music and History is at a perfect 100 and music is at a 98. Will I even need a good math or English grade for those majors or will it really not matter.

I am interested in music and would either like to major in Music Education or Music Performance. I have been playing the clarinet for 1 year and alto saxophone for 6 years. I am worried that a orchestra will not take alto saxophones and I don't know where I could preform. I also don't feel like I would be good enough with another instrument. I am not so good a clarinet and I will be starting flute so i know the basics but I don't really want to play it for a living. Around college i will learn french horn hopefully so I also understand how the brass instruments work. Basically I am a very good alto sax player but I worry that not to many music groups want them. I also think that it might be easier to be a music teacher because I would have a easier time finding a job. Should it be of any help I am considering West Chester University, The university of the arts in Philadelphia, Bloomsburgh university, and Bucknell.

My parents want to get my little brother a phone and saw the tracfone while looking for one. So do you just buy the card and add minuites to it as you need to or do you need to sighn up for a service?

I am a huge fan of George A Romero's movies specifically the original three. For those of you who don't know what the names of the movies are they are night of the living dead, dawn of the dead, and day of the dead. I would like to buy a poster of one of the movies autographed by either the cast or just George Romero's autograph. So my question is where can I find a autographed poster?

I have oblivion for the x-box 360 and went on the quest to find a vampire cure. I got everything the woman needed but when I ask her about a cure for vamparisim she says something like once I have all the ingredients i need i will make a cure for you. I have tried waiting but when i go back she will attack me or say the same thing. Can anyone help me with this?

Or can anyone tell me if any of George Romero's movies got any awards.

I beat the game and try to go to other provinces but it just says you can't go this way. I am guessing there is no way to do it.
