The reasoning is simple. It takes no faith to believe what is true or known to the be or proven logically like round earth. The more ridiculous a doctrine is, the less it has of substance, evidentiary basis, or reality in it the better it is as it takes MORE faith to believe it. Hence, religion does good to baffle people's mind with utter nonsensical and absurd doctrines.[Like the Trinity or virgin births]
