Girl In Question

I know this topic has been posted but I am having trouble with my specific situation.

I just started a new job a few weeks ago and I feel so lonely. At my old job, not only was I friends with everyone but I had dozens of friends outside of work who worked within a few blocks of me. So even when I didn't know anyone when I first started, it didn't matter because I had lunch with my friends and would enjoy the night life with them after work.

At my current job I have no friends and I can't see myself making any soon. Unlike my old job, everyone is much older or in a completely different stage in life, it is MUCH less diverse, no one shares any of the same interests or humor as me and what's worse is that everyone is in cliques and they have been for years. Also I now work in a different city where none of my friends work so don't even have them for comfort during the work week.

It's hard being alone at a place you spend most of your time. Any ideas on how to cope? Sorry this was so long :/

I was just asked out via text by a friend of a friend and I'm not interested (plus I'm kind of seeing someone else but no one knows that and the person I'm seeing also knows this person). Anyway, I want to reject this guy, but in a nice way, and without revealing the fact that I'm seeing someone he kind of knows. I don't want to give him the impression that I want to hang out with him as just friends, either. Basically, I want him to remain an acquaintance and only acquaintance. How do I explain that nicely?

I'm looking for some new casual shoes to wear with this dress. Any suggestions?

I have one in aqua or "seafoam."

Basically I uploaded all of my userpics correctly, but none of the animated .gif ones are actually moving. They're just frozen on one frame. Am I doing something wrong? I uploaded them all the same and it seems pretty simple so I don't know what could of gone wrong. Maybe I just need to go to sleep lol.

Someone I know wants me to make a design for them to place on a t shirt. I'm kind of doing this as a favor, but I would still be paid for it as if it were a freelance gig. Also, it's not just for one shirt, it's a design that will be worn by a small organization. I was thinking of charging them $50, which isn't that much, but they might be overwhelmed with that price because they're not aware of how much people get paid for this type of thing.

So basically I guess I'm just trying to see if what I'm charging is a decent amount or if I should go cheaper.

I have my mode set on RBG, but all the colors still show up as black and white. I did not place it on the black and white setting, so I have no idea what's going on. Can anyone help?

I know how to create a premultiplied alpha channel, but how do I create a straight alpha channel? It should be simple enough, but I don't know how. I'd appreciate any help, thanks :)

Do you know any specific scriptures that would help someone suffering from depression or for someone contemplating suicide? And please so scriptures saying suicide makes you go to hell. I'm well aware of that. I need scriptures that will bring comfort and solace, thanks :)

Opinions? I personally thought it was powerful and worth the wait, but I hear a lot of people say they were underwhelmed by it. So what did you think of it?

I just rendered an animation from After Effects. The result is an .avi file but it skips and jumps. I'm thinking it's because the file is too big (over 1 GB). I know there is a way to compress the file with Quicktime pro because I have done it before. The problem is that was a long time ago and I forgot how. Does anyone know how? This is for a final so I would really appreciate it, thanks :)

I have dynamics in my animation, and I know that you have to start your animation from the beginning to get your dynamics to work. Do you have to start your render from the beginning to get your dynamics to work? If so, I'm in big trouble because I can only render my animation at school, and I can't sit there for 18 straight hours.

That is, anyone on here? I have dysthymia and no one else I know has it, knows what it feels like, or understands it. So to avoid feeling like the only person in the world that has it, I want to know if anyone here does :)
