I'm thinking of trying this diet out but I have worries coming up already. I've already been invited to my friend's house where they're having Mexican food night...carb city! I don't want to be rude. My biggest worry is Thanksgiving. Any tips on these types of situations would be really helpful and thank you for your advice :)

We just rescued a new kitty, and the one that is very attached and thought to be the "baby" of the cats is not taking it well. She chases, corners, and bites her. We have tried setting up separate spots for them and neither ever touch the others stuff, but once my older cat sees the new one, she will chase and corner her. We've had the new kitty for over a month and the aggression isn't going away and it's just getting really frustrating as we can't seem to leave our home without asking someone to watch them so she won't attack.

We were in Utah and saw this animal... I can t tell what it is, any of you guys know? I ve researched and ruled out muskrat or beaver... Idk! Thank you!

I am wanting to get a daith piercing, but is there anything I should know about them before getting one? How bad does it hurt to get pierced, how long was it painful, how often can you change out the earring... stuff like that. Thanks!!

I feel very interested in the vegan lifestyle and yes, I know it's very very hard, but I'm up to it if it means I can live a life as cruel-free and safest for the environment as possible. But, I do have a few questions that I feel the research can't do enough for me. How do you tell your family/friends about it, and how did you take the criticism? What are some inexpensive vegan household items I can buy and where? Where do you do most of your shopping? What food was hardest to give up? How did you transition? I'm really looking for workout tank tops and leggings. Workout shirts are fine too. Also if you know anywhere to get a good deal on Nike shoes, that'd also be helpful. I don't want to spend too much though (more than $15 on a shirt is too much for me) and I want them to last for a while and not rip easily. Thanks for the help!

I want to learn how to play the bass guitar, but every successful bassist I've seen has also learned the guitar. Do I need to learn that first before the bass or is it okay? I've had no previous musical experience so would it be better?

I am currently cooking a prime rib roast in the oven at 500 degrees for 48 minutes. Within 25 minutes, my whole oven was smoking and I thought it was going to catch on fire!! Is it supposed to do this?? Sorry I am a beginner at cooking...

Yesterday was the last day of school and a bunch of guys thought it would be funny to get water balloons and throw them at people. I was unfortunately a victim! They drove by me and chucked one right at the side of my head! It scared me at first, but then it kinda made me mad, so I turned around and flipped them off and yelled "F*** you, a**holes!" I went home and told my mom about it and she thought I freaked out and overreacted. I said it more out of a joke, but the group of them was more religious... Idk. All my friends said they would have said the exact same thing. And to make it worse, the guy I kind of like was in the group with them! >.< I feel so ashamed.

I really want to learn the guitar; I'm 15. I think it would be a good experience for me. However, I am really nervous because I've never had any musical lessons at all, and I'm afraid a guitar teacher will think I'm a complete idiot for not knowing anything. I'm not too old for lessons, am I? :/

I need help please! I don't know how to check if she's really hurt, and our vet is closed. We were out playing softball earlier, and someone pitched the ball and my cat ran right into it! She ran away at first and hid, but i think it was because she was really frightened. We found her and now all she wants to do is hide in dark places and sleep? I checked on her, and when I pressed on where she got hit she didn't howl in pain or anything, and she purred, but they will do that even in severe pain. We are going to the vet tomorrow to get a spray for her cold. Will she make it? I feel like such a bad owner, and I didnt mean for anything to happen if she wont make it. :(

I don't know what to do! My friends really aren't mean to me, but only on occasion. But I really feel left out a lot. They always hang out with each other without me, and it makes me feel bad. They always have these "inside jokes" and when I ask about them they just tell me not to worry about it. And when we all hang out, which I will admit is pretty regular (but I think if I hadn't said something about how I feel left out before, they wouldn't be hanging out with me.), I just feel so excluded, like they carry on the conversation between themselves, and don't bother to get my input. They usually think poorly of my ideas, thoughts, likes... It may seem obvious to you, but these are my best friends. :( I don't even know what I did to change their ways towards me. It just seems that I like what I like, and they like what they like. I'm sorry for posting drama on the Internet, too. But I want someone's opinion so I'm not the one getting hurt in the end.

Okay, so I put my older outdoor cat and my maybe 2 1/2 month old kitten in my garage with my dogs (don't worry, they're great with cats) and I was watching them and my female kitten (Lisbeth) stole my older male cat's (Fitz) spot on the dog bed, and Fitz comes back and licks her at first, but then bites her neck! Then he continued to lick her, but he did it again! So I scolded him. I don't know if it's normal? Why did he do it if so? Does it have to do with my male not being fixed (sorry we're saving money to take him in)? I'm nervous to leave them alone because I may find my Lisbeth dead!

I had to take my little kitten in for coccidia. We're starting on week 2 out of 2 of medicine and I'm afraid I haven't seen a whole lot of improvement. It seems as though she has never-ending diarrhea. I don't know if she keeps getting it again by cleaning her bum...? And all she wanted to do today was sleep. I'm not sure what to do... Wait for something to happen or call my vet?

So I want an app that tracks my miles I've ran, and also let's me play my music. Apple App Store by the way. I don't care if it costs money either. Wanting the Nike plus iPod app, but I haven't purchased the shoe add-on. :/
