I have the option to change one of my assigned summer reading books to something else. Im taking honors English 11 so Im supposed to read the Illiad or the oddesy both over 600 pages AND life or pi which I don't mind that much but I cant hand reading some 600 page fuq'n poem. so im going to change the book to the fault in our stars and hopefully she'll approve it but she needs a reason for alternate choice Im sure ids have said crap like it interferes with my religious beliefs or something like that but idk what to say. if anybody's good w this kinda stuff HELP also idk if this could be used or not but my dad is in the hospital and physically disabled soo idk maybe you could say Im under a lot of stress and had to take care of him all summer and do not have the time to read a 600+ page book Also im not dead set on the fault in our stars ( btw its by john green) any suggestions for other titles? Im 16 and I like nonfiction Thanks!!

What time in your life so far was the best and why?

So for Health class everyday we start class by a kid bringing in a song and playing it for the class and explaining its INSPIRATIONAL message. I LOVE this song so I want to play it but I need like 2 sentences explaining it inspirational message. Please help! And I'm in high school so it needs to be deep. I have generalized anxiety disorder and I'm stressing out over tommorow. I don't know what to wear, what color to paint my nails and who I will sit with at lunch. Plus I'm pretty sure I won't get any sleep tonight. I know this is first world problems but I need help. He is a 12 yr old ( his breed lives to be old) 20 lb Alsakian Spitz mix cocker spaniel very healthyMy dad thinks he should have them removed via surgery and my mom thinks the surgery is too expensive and not neccesary since there is no threat. He is also older and could get an infection and not have enough immunity to fight it off. Everyone's really worried but we're split over what to do. So I'm a 15 year old female entering 10th grade over the summer I have to read "withering heights" by Emily bronte (for sure) so tell me if thats good and I have a choice between "the razors edge" by W somerset baugham and " through the looking glass" by Lewis carrol , I checked they are the same # of pages (320) so based on content and ability to read without falling asleep can you please tell me which book is better. okay i find it really hard to coexist with my mom dad and obnoxious brother at home. At times i can be a little crude but no one understands me, and my parents don't listen. I've been thinking of suicide lately because my mom told me she wishes i was never born because i have no future, I cant see a future for me either and it doesn't help that my grandfather has stage 4 cancer and probably wont make it to xmas right now i just hate myself and my family are so unreceptive adn distressing I hate it...what should i do to get my mind off of this and how can i fix the relationships with my mom, dad and brother please Help!!!
