  • exterior house work prices?

    I am planning on getting the front of my house fixed up. I am complete brick cleanup(cleaning, picking), removing about 100-150 bricks and replacing them, and cleaning up front of the roof ledge.

    How much do you think this would cost and what exactly should I do when calling a contractor. Any tips or precautions I should take since I have never called a contractor to work on my house before.

  • Electricity Physics question?

    A charge of 3.36 μC is at the origin and a

    second charge of −2.87 μC is on the positive

    x-axis 0.910 m from the origin.

    The Coulomb constant is 8.99 ×

    10^9 N · m2/C2.

    Find the magnitude of the electric field at a

    point P on the y-axis 0.524 m from the origin.

    Answer in units of N/C.

    I figured that I could use the formula:

    Fe = (kq1q2)/r^2

    but after I get the electrostatic force, I tried to use:

    E = Fe/q

    but I don't see how I can get the answer

    Fe = electrostatic force

    E = electric field strength

    q = charge

    k = Electrostatic constant = 8.99E9

    r = distance between charges
