HIV/AIDS patient info release?
I have a project for a HIMT class and it involves the release of patient information for a patient with AIDS. I know that a general consent will not be enough to release the information specific to AIDS, but does anybody know if I would go ahead and release the basic information for the patient? And also, would I contact the patient to let them know that their information had been released except the AIDS information so they could present with a written request? Thanks.

3 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling1 decade agoHelp with nails for my wedding?
I am getting married next week (yay!) and I need some advice regarding my nails. I want something other than just polish because I don't want to take a chance of it chipping, so I am wondering if anybody can offer some insight as to the different types of artificial nails? I would really prefer something that will do the least amount of damage to my natural nail as possible. I have heard that there are several different types of gel nails, but I am having a hard time finding any info online. I am wanting just the basic french tips. Also, I would like it if it is something I could remove on my own instead of making a trip back to the salon! Thanks so much!

1 AnswerOther - Beauty & Style1 decade agoHelp finding a Diamond and Sapphire wedding band?
I am looking to find a diamond and sapphire wedding band without breaking the bank. At this point, I will consider lab created sapphires and possibly upgrade for an anniversary. I would prefer white gold as I am allergic to silver. I really like the look of these:

If you have any idea of where to look I would really appreciate it!
4 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoHow many different things should I serve?
I am having an appetizer reception (around 2 in the afternoon) and we are inviting 130 people and expecting about 100 to show up. I am trying to figure out how many different items I should serve. Right now I have ham roll up sandwiches and turkey roll up sandwiches, sausage balls, sweet & sour meat balls, veggie pizza, cheesestraws, a fruit tray, and a veggie tray. Do I need more things? Will fillers (such as nuts and mints) be enough with what I have listed? Should I add something like chips and dip?
Any suggestions of other dishes would be appreciated and also whether or not you think this would be enough.
One more thing (sorry I know this is a lot of questions in one!) do I need to plan with appetizers an extra amount or is one serving of everything enough for each guest? Thanks!
1 AnswerWeddings1 decade agoQuestion about the size of the wedding cake?
Ok, so I have roughly 150 people on my guest list. I am wondering when ordering my wedding cake, do I figure in to serve all of those people? The groom's cake will also be quite elaborate and will honestly cost about the same as the wedding cake. I feel that it is silly to have two really expensive cakes and one of them be just extras. Would it be ok to figure in the groom's cake for a portion of the guests? Say 50 for the groom's cake and 100 for the wedding cake? Thanks!
7 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoHow many of you have pre nups?
I'm just curious. Naturally I don't see the need for one now, but I don't want to be naïve about the situation either. Advice and input is appreciated.
9 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoWhat is the appropriate way to find addresses for people?
I am trying to get together the address list for my invites. Is it acceptable for me to send a facebook message or a text message to people asking them for their address? I would naturally call older people to invite them, but for classmates and the like would a facebook message be ok?
3 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoCan anybody tell me how to make a raccoon cake?
Ok, I am getting married next March, and for the groom's cake, I really want to do a raccoon cake or a coon hunting themed cake. I live in Athens, Georgia so if anybody happens to know of anybody in this area that can make one, I would really appreciate it. If not, any tips or suggestions on how to do it would be appreciated!
This is something like what I hope to have:

If any of you have seen Steel Magnolias, there is a groom's cake in that movie that is an armadillo made of red velvet cake so it "bleeds" when you cut it. Being a southerner and my fiance loving to coon hunt I just thought this idea was too cute!
3 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoCan I politely decline a shower?
Ok, I am having a small(ish) wedding, about 110 people. My stepmother, cousin, my bridesmaids, and my church have all already offered to have a shower for me. Last night, some family friends told me that they would like to have a shower for me too. I really honestly just don't need that many showers, nor do I have enough people to invite to that many showers without inviting people to multiples which I really don't want to do. Is there any way that I can decline the offer without being rude?
9 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoQuestion about who to invite...?
I feel like a little background info is needed for this question to be properly answered. Sorry, it will be a tad long. I went to a small private school from k3-12th grade. Several girls from my class have married before me and I have been invited to all of their weddings, however they invited basically all of our classmates. My fiance and I have decided we want a small wedding (about 100 people), and I am curious, should I invited all of those girls that invited me to their weddings (I went to 3 out of the 5 I have been invited to), or just those whose weddings I went to, or do I have to invite them at all? I still have a close relationship with one of the girls, so she will naturally be invited, but the others I speak to when I see, but we are not very close. I know the usual answer is 'invite who you want' I just don't want to be rude. Thanks in advance!
7 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoIdeas for flowers to use for spring wedding?
My wedding date is March 19th 2011. I know that I want a spring mix type bouquet for my attendants. What I am thinking is for me, have a mixed bouquet, but all of the different flowers being in the cream, ivory family and then having the same flowers, only bright multi colored for the bridesmaids. I am thinking along the lines of gerbera daisies, lillies...basically anything BUT roses.
The bridesmaids dresses are a aqua color, which is part of the reason why I am opting to do the mixed bouquets for them b/c it is so hard to find flowers to match that color, and I do not want to have another hard set accent color. My dress is ivory/champagne. Any suggestions of which colors to use in the bouquets or types of flowers will be appreciated!
Oh also, I live in Georgia so if anybody could lead me to which flowers will be in season in March that would be great also!
3 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoWhat is a side dish that can be prepared the day before a meal?
I am going to a dinner at my friend's house this weekend and I am bringing a dessert and a side dish. I have the dessert covered, but I need help with a side dish that can be prepared the day before the dinner, as my fiance and I will be at church the morning before the dinner. Can anyone give me suggestions of things that can be prepared the day before that will go with a pork loin?
8 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoWhere to buy invitation kits?
I really want to do my invitations myself, but I would like to buy a kit that includes the invitations, the response card, and thank you cards. I have found some at Michael's, but they only had 2 boxes and I will need more than that. If anybody knows where else I can look I would appreciate it.
Just a side note, I know that Hobby Lobby and Walmart have the kits, but I couldn't find any that included the thank you cards.
7 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoHelp with wording for engagement announcement?
I am having a little trouble with the engagement announcement. My parents are putting the announcement in the paper, but have asked me to type it up. My parents are divorced and both are remarried. My fiance's parents are both divorced, but remarried. It is proving to be a little tricky, because it sounds like a long list of names at the beginning and I feel like we get lost in the mix. So far what I have looks like this...
Mr. and Mrs. Keith Easton of Athens, Georgia, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Robinson of Madison, Georgia announce the engagement of Mrs. Easton’s and Mr. Robinson’s daughter, Miss Brittany Lauren Robinson to Mr. Christopher Wade Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Baynes of Commerce, Georgia and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Smith of Anderson, South Carolina.
Any and all suggestions welcome. Also, ideas for what other information to add at the end would be appreciated too!
2 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoWhat are the chances of my property selling?
Currently, I live in a busy college town. I own a 2 bed room 2 bath condo. I am looking to sell it (hopefully by March as I will be getting married and plan to move) and I am curious to see if anybody has any knowledge of what the market is like. Other units in this complex are listed at 94,000, I would be able to list mine around 89,000. I am not looking to make a profit in this, I just want to get it sold so that I can start renovating our new home. Can anybody offer any advice of what the chances are of this property selling in that short of a time frame? Also, I am hoping to list this property on my own without going through a real estate agent...advice on that is welcome too! Thanks!
4 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoDoes anyone have experience with Allure vinyl flooring?
I am considering using the Allure vinyl flooring in my kitchen, mud room, living room, and dining room. I have read several reviews, and they seem to be mixed. One of the big concerns I have is with the edges coming up. Has anybody installed this floor and had it in their home for a substantial time period? Also, pictures would be GREATLY appreciated. I love the look of the flooring but my fiance is not sold on it yet. He wants to see pictures of an entire floor with the Allure, not just the sample pieces. Thanks so much!
4 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling1 decade agoIdeas for a middle name?
What are names that go well with the first name Joey? This will be for a girl. If you don't like the name Joey for a girl don't bother to answer. I don't need negative comments. Thanks in advance.
5 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoDoes Men's Wearhouse rent suits?
My fiance and I have been trying to decide between suits and tuxes for the groomsmen. Our wedding is not formal (it is going to be at 1pm) and not very large (about 100 guests), so I think that suits would work fine. I am curious on opinions of that and whether or not you can rent suits. Especially at Men's Wearhouse since I am using David's Bridal for the bridesmaid's dresses and those to places coordinate with each other. Thanks so much!
