My husband just adopted my adult daughter from a previous marriage, and we would like to throw a party/shower. I'm looking for ideas on fun themes, neat gifts, things to do ect.. Anyone have any neat ideas??

I have a psycho ex-husband, who has recently threatened to kill his current wife and children. She did nothing but leave him for 6 months. She's back living with him, for whatever reason--I think she's crazy! Anyway, he called me tonight and started getting on my case. I'm scared, and think he's unpredictable and unstable. I'm wondering what people think about restraining orders. I really do not want him anywhere near me and my family, but I'm afraid that if I seek an order I'll just tick him off more. Do restraining orders really do anything? I think that if someone whats to do you harm, they will just do it. Is a restraining order really going to do anything, or will it just tick off a person more?? What are your thoughts?

I'd like to find how to become a bartender. What I'm wondering is, do most people go to a bartender school, or do they learn how "on the job"? If you learn it on the job, how do you get a job with no experience and suceed? Seems like it would be difficult to just walk into. Is Bartending School a big waste of time?

I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I'm interested in purchasing an iPod (or similar product). I need it to have FM radio capabilities, because I want to use it at my gym to listen to the TV (you need to tune into a radio frequency in order to listen to the TV's that are on--they mute them). I want to put downloaded music on it, and I also want to be able to put it into a stereo docking system like iPod has. Is there such a product that has all of these capabilities?

I'm just curious as to what it is, and how it works or doesn't work. Do I need this in my life?

I'm thinking about purchasing a Cricuit System, and I was wondering if anyone has purchased one, and what they think of it. It seems kind of expensive, and I'm wondering if it's worth the price.

I have a "nested" sliding door between my Kitchen and Dining room. The people who lived here before me put in new linoleum flooring and it's built up so high that the door does not come out now. Does anyone know how I can get this door out so I can use it, without destroying the floor?
