1 AnswerComputer Networking7 years agoWhat would you do if your professor tells you this in class?
Okay so I'm in a programming class where the professor does not teach.
Anyway I got some questions wrong on a chapter we were in class and she told the whole class it's okay if you didn't get the answers correct as long as you tried.
Now for some this might seem like a good thing a "free ticket" out but I on the other hand am someone who wants to actually learn something.
So I told her in front of the whole class what if I wanted to get the answer correct and do them over again and she told me that I have to learn how to let it go and to learn how to be "good enough".
I was shocked. Oh and did I mention she is also the director of my major (computer science).
How would you feel if a professor told you this? I want to hear people's opinion on this.
Oh I forgot to mention that I go to an all women's college and what do you think her comment says about her outlook on women? To be good enough?

5 AnswersHistory7 years agoHelp with writing programs in C#, don't know if I should use if, while, or else statements?
I have two problems below:
1.) Write a C# program that counts the number of integers greater than 100 entered by the user. The user terminates the input with a negative number.
2.) Write a C# program that finds the minimum of the nonnegative numbers entered by the user. Ask the user to input the quantity of numbers to be entered first.
I have no idea where to start and my teachers just expect everyone to know how to solve these problems. Please if someone could explain how to solve these problems and then I will spend time trying to understand them so that it "clicks" in my brain and I get the logic.

1 AnswerProgramming & Design7 years agoAm I doing something wrong in C#?
Okay so I have established the following integers: x=10, y=5, z=3, w=2
and I need to find the value of x / z * y
or 10/3 *5
Now when I hit run I get 11 but when I do this on my calculator I get 16.67 or 16 2/3 so which one would be the correct answer?
Also how would I enter this w *= y + z into my Console.WriteLine
Thanks for helping me understand C#

2 AnswersAstronomy & Space7 years agoWhat title would be best for this graph?
So I am making a graph which looks at the distance to sun vs surface temperature of each planet.
Now this title cannot have (vs) in it, it has to be descriptive yet easy enough for someone who is looking at it to understand right away what it's about.
Now the x-axis has to be distance to sun in AU
Y-axis has to be surface temperature in C
