  • Which is more likely to you?

In the classic atheist-christian cyclical argument, it always winds up at: "Something can't come from nothing, so God must have created the universe" "Then what created God, if something can't come from nothing?" "He has always existed"

So. Which is more likely to you? That God has always existed, or the universe (not in this current form of course) has always existed?

I will voice my personal opinion afterwards.

  • Do you believe.............?

In spiritual healing. NOT specifically faith healing, but the entirety of accessing a "divine energy" for healing purposes, whether or not it is a god. Completely objective, just curious on everyone's stance.

  • Curious about dogs illness?

So, this is actually my biology teachers dog (who IS in the hospital). My teacher threw the visible symptoms out to my class, seeing if we could figure it out. All she noticed was sunday morning, it would not eat, sunday afternoon it was vomiting mainly clear/pinkish fluid, and a lot of blood in the feces. The vet put it on IV because of dehydration and electrolytes were out of balance, suggesting hormonal problems. My two best guesses would either be an issue with the adrenal glands, or pancreas failure, resulting in high acid in the small intestine, possibly causing internal bleeding. If it helps at all, the dog is a ~13 month old rottweiler, not sure of gender.

  • Common for snakes to become more defensive during sheds?

Specifically common boas. Personal experiences would help if possible. For the reason I asked, go here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=201110...

She had false struck at one other person when they walked by me quickly ( her head was on the oter side of my body)

  • 7 foot common boa bit me?

Its a classroom animal for bio 30. First time its bit me, but now I realize it was COMPLETELY my fault. For all you snake people out there though, (especially boas) do they become more aggressive/defensive before shedding? (afterwards i noticed her eyes were a little cloudy)

Anyways I accidentally elbowed her in the face, plus was handling her before a shed. My fault entirely, please no hate about how I should report the animal

  • Jumping or OD suicide?

the jump would be roughly 130' into a river (not as messy) or ODing on pentobarbital (what's used in animal euthanasia, but procuring ENOUGH might be difficult.) Which one do you think is the better option? And don't be giving me any of the "don't do it, there's so much worth living for" bs. Just give me your honest opinion.

  • Previous shoulder injury?

about a year ago now, i messed up my shoulder playing football. i landed on my elbow (inside) with my arm outstretched (doing a chop block drill) and either had a separation or subluxation. recently, i was doing lat pull downs and it popped, and now its hurting again, and can't lift my arm out to the side past the top of my head.

is this related? and how serious is it?

  • Please, medical professional only?

this isn't a personal injury, but im wondering about someone else

i was playing football tonight, and while watching a punt return, one of the guys on the field slid to grab the ball and rolled his ankle (eversion). there was quite a loud pop and he was in serious pain. he couldn't put any weight on it, but it didn't seem like there was too much swelling, and no discolouration. I don't think anything was broken, but i think he may have ruptured his tibiocalcaneal ligament. does this sound possible? and if so, how long will he be out for? (he's the starting rb)

btw im in hs sports med and just want to see if im any good at guessing without actually doing any diagnostic work

i have a toe on either foot (second toe) that bends out at the joints to about a 30° angle. i can straighten them with my fingers, but just wondering if this would cause problems if i was to wear these

    1 AnswerRunning1 decade ago
  • Few questions about vibram flow?

im into kayaking and barefoot running and these seem like a good way to go. id like a general review if possible (your own experience) as well as:

-difference between tc1 and idrogrip soles

-how flexible are the toes (side to side)
