  • Majorly Nervous - almost 6 weeks pregnant?

I had a miscarriage and D&C in December of last year. Hubby and I have been trying since March.

I tested positive on July 19th & first prenatal visit is upcoming in two weeks.

Problem is I'm so nervous that I could miscarry again ... Last time was at 8 weeks-no heartbeat. I'm so scared about the visit.

I'm doing everything right - plenty of sleep, eating right, taking vitamins, drinking plenty of water, getting light execise, etc.

Anyone else is the same situation or similar experience - I need to settle my mind.

    Thank ladies ...

  • Why does alcohol cause blackouts?

I had a very fun 4th of July and was drinking Heineken Light, coupled with mass quantities of Jager Bombs for the evening.

When asked if I could recall the whole night, I recanted every thing I had in my mind from the evening.

HOWEVER, there was a huge, and I mean HUGE chunk, of the night missing from my recalled memory.

What happened?? Was it a mixture of those particular drinks, or is it me?

  • How to care for Tidal Wave petunias?

I planted alternating 'Tidal Wave' Petunias in Cherry & Silver in my front flower beds in mid-April. The plants were purchased in small 8 inch pots and planted at 12-16 inches apart.

They have grown fantastically and are now starting to take over my walk-way to my front door. My neighbor swears I'm feeding them steriods!!! *i barely water tham*

Can I trim them back and not cause harm to the plants??

  • Memorial tattoo of my brother on my outer thigh?

I am getting a memorial tattoo of my brother in 2 weeks. I finally picked out the best photo - it was taken on my wedding day & has true personal meaning for me. I have been trying to determine the placement & decided that large 'canvas' is best for the level of detail & realism of the portrait.

Does outer thigh (just below hip) seem personal enough?

  • Cat prescribed Ovaban?

I need to hear from other pet-owners who are in this similar situation. My male DSH has a history of urinary issues. He is eating Hill's Prescription Diet c/d and we are taking 10 mg of Ovaban daily in an attempt to correct his bad habits around the house. We are about a week into the hormone therapy and I haven't noticed any change in him.

Will I see changes in more time?? Will this successfully correct his litter box behaviors?? Will he become aggressive??

Any success to report for others out there??

Any progress that makes it all worth-while??

I can't get past the fact that I am possibly torturing my lil guy ...

  • what are the laws governing personal property in NJ?

A friend is in mid-divorce and her spouse has custody of the personal computer & all photographs it contains (including some of definite character defaming origin). She is concerned as to the possible use of those photos and the individuals it would hurt. Is there legal recourse she can take or a contract that can be drawn to limit his desire to use those photos against her??

Also, if he does proceed with ill-intent and publish the photos to the web or other entity - what type of lawsuit might she be able to pursue to seek for damages (i.e. defamation of character, etc.)??

As I type this, I am watching this HUGE bee bore its way into my deck. I've tried using RAID "flying insect" spray - but they seem to shake it off as if it were just water. What can I do?

  • super high-strung - Doc thinks meds are necessary - HELP!?!?

I have 2 sibling cats, one male & 1 female. They have never been without each other or me. Pepe (male) has always been partial to me. He seems to hate my husband (i.e. hisses at him, bolts from the room at the sight of him, constantly on edge). Upon mentioning this to my vet, she suggested medication. *Kittie Prozac* I'm not certain how it got to this point but I am concerned about Pepe & his health. AND, I certainly do not want to change him with medication. Any help, suggestions or advise would be appreciated.
