Seriously
The Ashes and India vs Pakistan series overrated?
I think the real rivalry is NZ vs Australia. We compete (try to) with the Aussies in almost everything, especially sport. and recently we've been doing ok with that *Cough* Breakers *Cough* also *Cough* Warriors *Cough*, hahaha. Hoping for a fantastic match tonigh, but as usual, the Kiwis should win.
Non-Kiwi/Aussie members, other than Ashes and India vs Pak, what is your favorite bi-lateral series?
8 AnswersCricket8 years agoIs Sri Lanka,....fairly, not good enough to win high profile tournaments like the Champions Trophy?
Just look at their Warm-up match against the MIGHTY WORLD POWER INDIA.
13 AnswersCricket8 years agoIs Adam Gillchrist the most Punjabi player in the Kings XI team?
Hahah the way he celebrated his first IPL wicket yesterday was hilarious. I am really going to miss him ( i think he retired for the IPL) He is probably...no, he IS my favorite Wicket-keeper/batsmen of all time.
So whats my Question? Which player (other than Sachin) do you think will retire from the IPL next?
Here is the video for those of you who didn't see it --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3iISOFWYoxI&feature...
6 AnswersCricket8 years agoHAH, BCCI and subsidiaries are reminding everyone of the difference...?
between Match-fixing and Spot-fixing.
I think that's just stupid. ANY type of fixing is a crime, it doesn't matter if it influenced the outcome of the match or not.
Do think there is any difference between the two types of fixing? why?
6 AnswersCricket8 years agoIs this some kind of joke?

Why would anyone want to name their kid "Sachin Baby". Feel sad for him.
Can you think of any other funny cricketers names?
11 AnswersCricket8 years agoDo you guys really give a rats ****?
I'm not really sure on all the deets about this BCCI flexing it arm to place L.Sivablahblahblah in some position.
My Question is do you really care? How does it affect you? and when did you start caring?
Not defending BCCI here guys. I've never liked them. To be honest, I don't really like Indian cricket that much either. Zimbabwe cricket is where its at.
6 AnswersCricket8 years agoI'm just curious, if you had the talent and ability of Gayle or Steyn...?
and Royal Challengers Bangalore (best team in the world :P) or even the Sydney Sixers came and offered you a very good sum of money in exchange for your batting/bowling in a 4-6 weeks T20 Tournament. Would you accept? or would you say naaah T20 is not real cricket?
11 AnswersCricket8 years agoWhat is you ideal international tour?
How many test matches, ODi's and T20i's should be in a Tour. I'd say 3 Tests, 3 ODi's and 2 T20i's..
Harsha Bogle says India is to play 7 ODi's against South Africa soon. Thats way too many.
10 AnswersCricket8 years agoWhat has been happening with Sreesanth recently?
My Twitter feed has been filled with tweets making fun of him. There are also tweets standing up for him. The Tweet are very vague, I can't make out if they are still mocking him about the crying incident or something new that may have happened recently.
3 AnswersCricket8 years agoThis is just madness. Is it even fun to watch?
There has been 1457runs with 17 wickets with 8 centuries in this Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh Test match.
I feel matches like these are what's killing Test matches. The Sri Lankan curators need to have a long hard think about what kind of pitches they should prepare in order to have good Cricket played. Especially since they need to get some revenue going for a Cricket Board that seems worse than the Zimbabwe Cricket Board.
Do you enjoy watching these types of matches?
7 AnswersCricket8 years agoFantastic first day for the Black Caps, eh?
I'll admit I was disappointed we couldn't take any wickets, but hey, we kept the run-rate wayyy down!
Real Question - On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being the least excited, how would you rate your excitement for the next IPL?
Remember, Tendulker and Ponting will be playing in the SAME team! MADNESS!!
4 AnswersCricket8 years agoHow do you rate Stuart Broad as a bowler?
I don't think he is a bad bowler, and I don't think he is required in the team either. I would still pick him over Dernbach, though....period.
12 AnswersCricket8 years agoOther than 'money' can you tell me why you dislike the Indian Premier League?
16 AnswersCricket8 years agoThird umpire getting payed to sit there and sleep?
One of the Australian commentators made a good suggestion yesterday. They said instead of DRS ,When a batsmen is given out, and the first replay shows that he wasn't out, the 3rd Umpire can ask the batsmen to return to the crease. Same goes if the original decision was not out. If the first replay show it was indeed out, the 3rd umpire can call the on field umpire to change the decision. How this differs from DRS is that it takes away player involvement in umpiring.
TL;DR? Remove DRS, Have 3rd umpire monitor all decisions and make changes acccording to the first replay shown.
What do you think of this suggestion?
7 AnswersCricket8 years agoHow do you rate Kumar Dharamesena as an umpire?
Some scary decisions today. I don't think we can call it a bad day either.
9 AnswersCricket8 years agoDoes anyone miss the Chappell Hadlee series?
I used to enjoy this series as the Kiwis usually got the better of the Aussies (Barring Hayden and Gilly) and we all love watching the Aussies struggle :P
4 AnswersCricket8 years agoWhats your view on 'Umpires Call'?
Yesterday, when Hilfy bowled a beaut to Peterson, the umpire's original decision was Not Out. Clarke then decided to review the decision. The result was the ball was infact hitting the stumps. However, the DRS rules meant that because the pitch of the ball was half inline with the stumps the decision would remain the umpires call.
How does that work? as far as i know, if the ball pitched inline with the stumps, its OUT.
Thoughts?
