  • Could these be signs of some kind of deficiency in my diet?

Okay, so lately I ve had several things come up all around the same time. First was sinus congestion and runny nose (understandable given the weather) and also have had sort of a dry and sore throat (almost feels like a cold coming on, but never goes full on) , and then I started getting really bad acid reflex where I ll vomit in my mouth a little a couple times a day and burp a lot. I also have had a ton of gas, farting and burping. The next thing is that in my legs I have really strong "growing pains". The thing is, I m done growing and I have been for quite a while. The final thing that I can think of is that I ve been peeing a lot more frequently. Everything came on around the same time and I can t figure out what it is. I m lactose intolerant, but even having cut out a good 70% of my lactose intake, I m gassier than ever! And my stomach gets nausea quite a bit, also, but I never vomit.

Anyway, sorry it s so long, it was a bit of info.

    THANKS!

  • Should I have already received my blood test results?

I took a blood test Thursday morning, so a good 6 days ago, and I have received two bills for it and no results. Should I call the office I went to and see what's up, or just wait it out? I'm just concerned it's taking so long because the lady who drew my blood said I should be getting results in around 2 days. No phone call, no mail, nothing. So, what do you think I should do?

    Thanks!

  • Would you say that I have anxiety enough to bring it up to a doctor? (sort of long)?

I've been really trying to brush off my anxiety as merely part of who I am, just a worried person, but lately it's getting worse again.

I used to get so anxious a couple of years ago that I got a couple of anxiety/panic attacks that I didn't really tell anyone about, but I did end up hallucinating a couple of times and I had a few dreams within the same span of time in which I woke up physically hurting myself (scratching, choking) and I would lay awake unable to fall back asleep without feeling watched. I used to sleep with my blanket over my head as a child as well, so I feel like it's a pattern that's just slowly worsening.

Little things make my heart skip a beat and race, my head spin and and I get a head rush and a minor headache. Things including, but not limited to:

Speaking to someone.- This one used to be a lot worse, it was ANYONE I spoke to. Now it's really just when I talk to someone on the phone that I don't really know (maybe a receptionist somewhere) or when I'm addressing someone over something serious (like addressing coworkers when they've done something out of line). No matter how much I force myself to do it, my anxiety is always there.

When an alarm goes off.- I set alarms for things such as waking up for work, taking my birth control, etc... Most of the time I am paying attention to the time and waiting for the alarm, almost obsessively, and I still get anxious.

When Fearing I will miss something or be late.- i.e. Catching the bus, being to work

  • What tests are typically ran in a blood panel?

So, today I got my first ever blood test. They drew my blood and all that good stuff, I got it mainly because I've never gotten one before and because I've been urinating a lot I'm a bit worried something might be wrong because I tested for a UTI and Pregnancy and both came back negative, not to mention all of the urinalysis I had run through my gyno this year (I've taken a good 4-5 urinalysis these last several months with no positive results for anything wrong). I don't know what exactly they test for, though and I failed to think about asking the phlebotomist what tests they'll run on my blood. I wasn't told it was anything specific they just "ordered a blood panel" for me when I went in last and they couldn't figure out what was going on with me. (I've been getting stomach-sick every morning for several years now and recently it has gotten worse and even spread to coming on at night. I also urinate A LOT even if I haven't had anything to drink).

So, does anyone know what tests they'll likely run?

    Thanks in advance! (:

  • What Make of vehicle is more reliable?

So, I've asked a few vehicle related questions recently, but I'm slowly becoming less picky.

I have about $2,300 to spend on a used car, maybe $2,500 by the time I actually do buy one. I know insurance is extra on top of that, I've had people drill me about it, I'm not stupid. The savings is for the car, the paycheck I buy the car around is what will pay for my insurance and everything else. With that being said, I just need to know what make of vehicle is more reliable?

I've been looking at Hondas, Chevys, Fords, Volvos, Pontiacs, Audis... I really don't think Nissan, Dodge, Kia, or Mazda are the best (at least for the price I'm able to pay), I could be wrong, but I've heard bad things about almost every Make. So, I just need to know what will be the most reliable as a used car, around $2,300-$2,500, for a first car to last me a good 2-3 years more?

There aren't a whole lot of models I've been looking at, But the ones I recall looking at are:

    Honda: Accord, Civic

    Chevrolet: Cavalier

Ford: Taurus, Mustang (I wouldn't get a Mustang because they're not so great in the snow and winters here are pretty snowy)

    Volvo: S80

    Pontiac: Grand Am

    Audi: A4, A6

Years I haven't paid a lot of attention to, but I'm going to say they range from 1995-2002.

So, if you could say what Make AND model, that would be helpful as well, but if I can at least narrow it down my Make. Thanks!

  • Why is my 4G not working with this new sim card?

I go through AT&T and they messed something up when my mom added a line so I had to go get a new sim card. My text and call is working fine, but my 4G isn't working at all. I can't do anything that requires internet, which is a little inconvenient seeing as how I like to check my bank balance and email when I'm working or out and about. I tried unchecking and rechecking the box under my mobile network settings that reads "Data enabled: Enable data access over mobile network". It still didn't work. Not sure what's going on, my plan didn't change, just my sim card. Does anyone know how I might fix this? I have an AT&T Radiant.

    Thanks!

  • Should I attempt for a loan or buy vehicle in cash?

Okay, so I've only been holding a line of credit for about 6-7 months. My credit score is really good, just not long term established, so that sort of takes away some water from that number. I probably wouldn't have a cosigner, I have a good $2100 saved especially for this (probably closer to $2300 when I actually do go to purchase a vehicle). I feel like I could get something decent enough to last me 1-2 years while I get my situation together enough to get a loan on a more visually appealing and reliable vehicle, which in turn could last me a good 3-4 years (or maybe a couple more) up until I can afford a loan on my dream vehicle.

Would you just buy a beater in cash or still try to qualify for a $7000/$8000 loan on something a bit nicer? My thinking is that it will still be used and either way, something could go wrong. Plus my boyfriend and his brother knows a lot about vehicles so they could tag along and help me out when buying a beater car.

If you would go cash, what vehicle is reliable, affordable, and gets decent gas mileage. I will have to commute to work every day, it's a super short commute these days, but come next February it will be more like 20-30 minutes of a commute (maybe longer if I end up not transferring right away).

If you would go for the loan, why? And how's the best way to go about this in my situation? I figure going to my credit union would be the best bet.

    Thanks!

  • How can I overcome my nervousness of going down on him?

Okay, so basically my boyfriend goes down on me once in a while and I have yet to go down on him. I'm just so nervous! I don't know why! I even straight up told him I wanted to, but I just get too nervous to actually do it. He's never asked for it, never gotten attitude because I haven't, frankly all I know is that he's said that he'd like to experience it at least once. I just don't know what to do. I want to make him feel good, of course, I'm just afraid because my mouth is EXTREMELY small. I mean, not only depth, but diameter. I don't even know if I could get his little friend in there without the dreaded "teeth!". That would just bump it down to licking it, basically, which sounds incredibly awkward. and being down there I feel like it would be awkward. Even when he's down on me it gets a bit awkward because it doesn't do anything for me, really and I don't really know what to say. He's asked if it feels good and so obviously I've told him it's not like a wow thing for me, but it's not bad. And he still does it now and again, so I assume he just likes it and wants to keep trying at it.

Anyway, how can I get over this stupid fear??

  • How should I frame this photo?

Okay, so I ordered a digital painting for my boyfriend's birthday. It's 20"X20" So it's a pretty good size. The background of the photo is a light grey and it's a painting of a harley and a dog with the harley logo set behind them. I'm trying to decide the best way to frame it for him. I should probably mat it and then frame it, I'm guessing, but then I'm also wondering if it will make the print appear too large with the extra matting around the picture itself before the frame. Also, I don't really know the best place to get a good frame. I need to get what I need by around next Wednesday or Thursday, no later, so I just have to figure out what all I should get, what color, material, etc... I don't want to pay TOO much for a frame, though. I already paid quite a bit for the print and don't feel like I need to go overboard on the frame, haha.

    Thanks!

  • What could this pain during intercourse be?

Okay, so for the past month and a half or so I have had pain during sex in my right ovary. For about a week it was really bad and it hurt no matter what we did to try and alleviate it. Eventually it went away unless we do any position other than missionary. I also have to pee a lot and I'm assuming it's an ovarian cyst. I am on birth control if that's of any help.

I went to the gynecologist and he just did a pap smear, did a pee test, and told me he'd call me if anything was abnormal in the tests (I just had the same tests a month prior and it was immediately following that annual that I started having the pain) and that I should just try using Astroglide lubricant. Why this seemed like a solution to him, I have no idea. The pain, originally, was also central, more around my uterus and also in my right ovary. Nothing on the left side. I've been getting weird nausea when I eat, but it isn't so much in my abdomen as it is in my throat, so I don't know if that is even connected.

  • What vehicles would be practical and affordable?

So, I will be getting my first vehicle in about a month and a half. I am most definitely going to buy from the private seller and owner of the used vehicle. I'm assuming I won't qualify for a very big loan, since I haven't held a credit score very long, so I don't want the vehicle to be too expensive, but I also want it to have good gas mileage and also be practical.

I've been looking at used Ford Explorer Sport Tracs, I found one for a really good price and I read some reviews on Edmunds, but I can't decide. It has pretty fair gas mileage for an SUV/Truck cross, but then I know I can find something better.

I looked to the Jeep Liberty and found some great deals, also read some Edmunds reviews and they have pretty darn good gas mileage for a Jeep, but again, I could find better.

My problem is I worry about the appearance of the vehicle. That is something that no matter how hard I try I just cannot get myself to bend very far on.

I don't NEED an SUV or a truck. An SUV would be nice, but a Sedan would be fine, also. My dog isn't very large, I don't need a ton of room, but I do like enough room with keeping the future in mind. If something so happened where I needed the room, I'd like to have it.

So, anything I can probably find used for under 6,000 and that has good gas mileage and track records would be awesome. I'm really just looking for ideas based on what you've experienced or heard. I am no car guru, unfortunately. Hahaha

    Thanks in advance! (:

  • Is it horrible of me to not want to attend this wedding?

I honestly don't know the real question here, and maybe I'm just in a bad mood, today, but I really do NOT want to go to my boyfriend's sister's wedding. We have been together for about 5 months and I've hung out with his family a few times, but I work full time and so does he and we live a good 45 minutes away from one another so I really haven't gotten a chance to bond with his family. His sister is really sweet and her husband is cool and I get along great with them, but I just really don't want to go to this wedding. I don't want to straight up tell them because when I first had said I probably couldn't go (because of work) they all said that they were really sad I couldn't attend it so I said that I would try to work with my manager on my scheduling for that day so I could go, even though I don't really want to. I don't know why I don't want to go, but even if I can, my boyfriend can't pick me up so one of our mutual friends would have to because my boyfriend is a groomsman, so he can't leave.

And they're saying I can wear jeans and a shirt and my boyfriend is offering me money to give to a coworker to switch me shifts and it's all just making me very unnecessarily uncomfortable and I don't know if it's just me, or if it's normal.

I've only been to 3 weddings. One of them I was 4 or 5 and I was a flower girl, so I don't really remember it. The next was one I had to go to because I was a minor still and it was my parents friends wedding and so all us kids had to go and

  • Is there an explanation for me dreaming in languages I've never learned?

So, a while back I dreamt in a little bit of Swahili, but I had been sort of studying that language because I was trying to use some Swahili in a book I was writing during my creative writing class in 10th grade. I'm no longer in school and don't study any languages, but last night I was having a dream and one of the characters said "Nani, nani, mohini." I looked them up and Nani means beautiful in Polynesian, Mohini means most beautiful in Hindu. So, essentially, what the character said makes sense."Beautiful, beautiful, most beautiful.". In the dream I understood it, but when I woke up I was confused and then surprised once I looked them up. For them to be two different languages meaning almost the exact same thing was just incredible to me. Is there any explanation for this? The only languages I've ever studied were French and Japanese, yet I've never dreamt in those languages. Only Swahili, and now Polynesian, and Hindu. When I dreamt in Swahili, I had full conversations going on in the dreams, but I was never able to search them and figure out what they meant. All I knew was that in the dream and when I woke up, I could identify the language and I had no doubt at all that it was Swahili, and I still do not. English is the only language I'm fluent in.

Could there be any explanation for this?

    Thanks in advance!

  • GUYS: What would you think of this gift?

Okay, so for my boyfriends birthday this year I wanted to get something nice for him that would have some kind of meaning to him. He loves Harley Davidson, but he already has a leather jacket and a wallet and a a bike and just.. everything so I was going through idea after idea. Then I saw this independent artist who makes amazing works of art and thought it would be really neat to get him a custom piece of art of a Harley bike set on a Harley logo background and then just to add something more to it, a Boxer (dog) in front of the bike because that's his favorite breed of dog and his Boxer means a lot to him. So, I'm already in contact with the artist and have it in the works. I'm just wondering if it's something you guys would find thoughtful and would appreciate. I mean, I know he will appreciate it just because he'd probably appreciate anything I gave him, I just want to know opinions. I get curious, haha.

    Thanks!

So the past couple of weeks my appetite has become more frequent and then I started to get lightheaded or dizzy when I move my head to look. I have also now started getting tingly hands. What could cause all this and is it all possibly related? Thanks!

  • Toilet will not flush?

Okay, so my toilet won't flush. It happened all of a sudden and I'm generally the only person who ever uses the toilet. It was fine one day and the next it just kept draining. You know, when you can hear it like right after a flush when it starts to settle down, it just was making that noise. The water is constantly swirling a tiny bit, so everything slowly just goes down. The lever does nothing for it because the pump isn't lifted, the water level in the tank is really low, constantly, the buoy in the toilet just stays down. It's a mess, I don't know what to do. I've tried shimmying the buoy a few times, lifting the pump internally. I'm not really sure what you're supposed to do to fix it.

There's also randomly a ton of condensation on the outside of the bottom of the tank and the toilet seat. I Know it's common for that to happen during spring and summer, but does it maybe have anything to do with the flushing issue?

Is there anything I can do? I don't really want to wait on maintenance. I live in apartments, but the last time I had maintenance come in, all he did was a quick fix with some plumbers tape. I coulda used duct tape and chiclets in the less time to fix the same problem without having to wait five days.

    Thanks!

  • Birth Control and spotting?

Okay, so I've begun taking Sprintec birth control as of last December or so and I've been fine. Completely helped with my cramps and everything, I had no problems. Then, I missed a pill and noticed the next day. I didn't take that pill, I just tossed it, and continued to take the pills, but because skipping one gave me my period I skipped the sugar pills and begun my next week of active pills. The period lasted through the active pills and I have been spotting for a good week, now. I'm wondering if it will stop soon. It has its moments where there's no spotting at all and then all of a sudden I go pee and start spotting, again. Will having sex be an issue during my spotting?

  • Why does Pandora play audio ads over your music!?

Okay, so Pandora.com is getting on my last nerve. I can't get into my Spotify for some reason, so I went to Pandora.com and I actually like it a lot more because it's more of a radio experience than Spotify is. Recently, they've begun playing audio ads on the side DURING my music and it's ticking me off. Now, these are ads without an exit option or pause option and it's really obnoxious. Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone know a way to prevent it?

This is more of a rant than anything, it's just ticking me off because they have plenty of time to play audio ads during their breaks. I'd rather have a four minute break with the audio ads than audio being played over the music I'm trying to enjoy.

  • Is there an online lingerie/underwear store I can give my measurements and they will make my size?

Okay, so I'm really tiny and I can't find anything cute and sexy in my size and it's driving me nuts. I'm wondering if there is any website for bras and lingerie that I can give my measurements to and they will special make the product in my size? I don't want it to be outrageously expensive, but I'm willing to pay up to $80 for something like that.

    Thanks in advance.
