  • Is gods morality yours?

Now for the sake of argument I believe in God. Ok now this God does what he wills for any and everybody. Now I believe the Bible and everything from the flood to the part where he kills the firstborn children of Egypt unless they had lambs blood painted on the door, instead of going after pharaoh and using his will to set people free after he had hardened pharaoh's heart I might add. Now the argument would be made that gods morality is beyond our understanding.

If that is the case what can I trust that this God morality is the way to go? In other words how do you trust it without using your morality, because clearly none of you ever stone tour unruly children.

  • What is with all of the animosity towards football fans?

I have come across a few questions about people talking about how Gridiron football is such a bad sport, I mean in America most of us grew up knowing, hearing, watching, and playing football. Same can be said about most countries and their respective sports. We can all enjoy all sports you don't have to waste your time to come on here and bash people for liking it.

  • It is not a religion!!?

Being a Jedi isn't a religion, It's a relationship with the Force. The Force is your ally, your companion that will always guide you. I bet most of you are missing something in your heart when you are alone but only a connection with the Force can fill that gap when you allow yourself to feel the flow of the Force through you and all living beings.

  • Christians does it make you mad?

Christians does it anger you that this would be the rules in a bible based country?

    Deuteronomy 13:6-10

If your brother, or your son or daughter, or your beloved wife tries to secretly entice you, telling you to go and worship other gods, gods of people living near you, or far from you, or anywhere on earth, do not listen to him. You must kill them. Show them no pity. And your hand must strike the first blow. Then the hands of all the people. You shall stone them to death.'

    Deuteronomy 13:13-17

If you hear that in one of the towns, there are men who are telling people to go and worship other gods, it is your duty to look into the matter and examine it. If it is proved and confirmed, you must put the inhabitants of that town to the sword. You must lay the town under the curse of destruction, the town and everything in it. You must pile up all its loot in the public square and burn the town and all its loot. That town is to be a ruin for all time, and never rebuilt.

Does it make you mad just ashamed to even claim you are god's children who are "moral" and "good just because you believe in god? Does it anger you when I say I respect the countries in the Middle East, that follow their book to a tee, and are the ones who're doing it right?

Sharia Law is the correct way to handle a government, because their god commands it. So the world can you claim to be moral and just because you find those scriptures wrong. You think religion doesn't harm? Look no further than Africa in Nigeria kids killed for being witches, in Uganda homosexuality is an offense punishable by death no questions asked. Does it feel right? knowing you are against the very thing your god is for?

  • Christians what's more likely?

When it comes to Jesus being born of a virgin and that Jesus turned water into wine, walked on water. Then killed and resurrected three days later and that still not being proof of god existing?

    Or

All of these things did happen and they equated it to there being a god in the same sense ancient Greeks thought Zeus was throwing lightning bolts at the ground.

Because I look at it like even if these things did happen like a resurrection or virgin birth, how would you automatically jump to there being a god that did all of these things? Surely you don't believe Zeus is throwing down lightning bolts do you?

  • Jesus knows you're here?

A burglar broke into a house one night. He shined his flashlight around, looking for valuables when a voice in the dark said,

    'Jesus knows you're here.'

He nearly jumped out of his skin, clicked his flashlight off, and froze.

When he heard nothing more , after a bit, he shook his head and continued.

Just as he pulled the stereo out so he could disconnect the wires, clear as a bell he heard

    'Jesus is watching you.'

Freaked out, he shined his light around frantically, looking for the source of the voice.

Finally, in the corner of the room, his flashlight beam came to rest on a parrot.

'Did you say that?' he hissed at the parrot.

'Yep', the parrot confessed, then squawked, 'I'm just trying to warn you that he is watching you.'

The burglar relaxed. 'Warn me, huh? Who in the world are you?'

    'Moses,' replied the bird.

'Moses?' the burglar laughed. 'What kind of people would name a bird Moses?'

'The kind of people that would name a Rottweiler Jesus.'

  • A 54 year old woman had a heart attack?

A 54 year old woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital.

While on the operating table she had a near death experience. Seeing God she asked "Is my time up?

God said, "No, you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live."

Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a face-lift, liposuction, breast implants and a tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and change her hair colour and brighten her teeth! Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of it.

After her last operation, she was released from the hospital. While crossing the street on her way home, she was killed by an ambulance.

Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said I had

another 43 years? Why didn't you pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?"

    (You'll love this)

God replied: "I didn't recognize you."

  • Biologists I need your thoughts on these comments?

Now I posed a question about evolution and this person said the following about evolution:

I don't believe in any form of Macro-evolution. [Micro-evolution, that is subtle adaptations within species, is evident.] The reason is simple: There is no evidence of it. Creatures remain within their "kind". Cats don't become dogs. Virus don't become spiders.

Vestigial organs is a phrase to excuse ignorance instead of saying "we're not sure what it does".

Saying we share x% of DNA and therefore are evolved from x, is like saying that the Bible has 97% of the same number of words as Richard Dawkins books, so therefore Dawkins is the son of the Pope John Paul II. Talk about cognitive dissonance. Hello?

I have debated Atheist professors and tied them up in their own arguments, and also have led Atheist professors to argue and debate between themselves, proving my arguments. The fact is that there is NO unified theory of Evolution. Er go, the Bio Evolutionist theory contradicts the AstroPhysicist's Evo theory and that contradicts the Paleontologist's Evolutionary theory, which contradicts the Biologist's.
