how can you believe in micro evolution but not macro evolution? macro is in sense a bunch of micro evolutionary steps!

and if u are so sure about ur findings why are none of ur magazines scientifically peer reviewed? most of what i have seen is quote mining and parts of evolutionary studies. if u want to prove ur point then show experiments and workings or send some of the elders and governing body members to collage and universities to study it.

i understand Jehovah's witnesses are old earth creationists, but it still doesn't work!

the whole "day" doesn't mean a day because of gen 2:4 (OK in that particular scripture the word day in the context means "past day"). but in the actual events of the creation (if you read it from the beginning like every other book!), the guideline of a day is stipulated: "and there came to be evening and there came to be morning the first day" and so on. so this day consisted of ONE sunrise (morning) and one sunset (evening) how can this be conceived as anything else, apart from a literal 24hr day? so this means the earth is 6000 years old, and we know it isn't.

what does this leave us with? symbolic days. so the "day" means a few million years each. but this still does not add up. according to the j.w meaning of creation, plants which were created on the third day then on the fourth symbolic day millions of years later, seasons were created?!?! errr.... how the bloody hell did plants survive that long without seasons? then it gets better, on the 5th symbolic day insects were created! the pollinators of the plants came 2 "days" after plants? huh?

i personally dont know how life started but i dont pretend to know and make up stories which when thought out logically make as much sense as young earth creationists. i just want you to explain how you can believe this as logical, and why you say that the "day" is symbolic IN THE ACTUAL CREATION STORY?

Are huggie hoop earrings in? Or should I stick with standard diamond studs?

I've got both ears pierced and was wondering what is the "look". I see alot of huggie hoop styles being sold and I'm not sure if diamond studs are too tacky or just look too out dated or are the still in? UK fashion tips please!!!

What I mean is those who re-marry because of their first partner dies. When they get resurrected won't they have 2 or more husbands/wives? what is the rule here? This is an obvious problem tht cannot be ignored its been buggin me for ages!

We have the ability not to worship him, and a vast majority don't (or worship the wrong one which is just as bad)

Some creation huh? Where's this perfection? Forget about the "tests" tht god puts us thru or the prophets blah blah! If we are created to obey and worship god, why dnt we? Perfect creator creating perfect creatures?

I'm willing to overlook the 587/607 BCE debate for now. But wot links all those scriptures involved in this prophecy? Why do you go back to Daniel 4:16 to get the number 7? Why not the 3 1/2 already stated in revelations 11:2,3? Why not 40 like the days of noah? And how does it become each day is equal to a year? (I thawt one day to god was a thousand years to humans?) make up ur mind! This also questions how many days Noah was on the ark for if each day is a year or a thousand or wot ever suits u.

Where in the bible (the book u say u follow to the letter) does it say to do all this Maths and palm it off as some spiritual hidden riddle? Numb-12:8 god doesn't like riddles! Surely god doesn't go back on his word. This is not a clear prophecy by any stretch of the imagination!

Just to clear things up. The JW's in Malawi were told not to buy a 25cent political card to keep the ONE policy military state happy. But tht Gov body told them not to buy it. The result: thousands of JW's slaughtered and many women raped. Many lost their homes and were refugees. A price too big to pay for not taking political sides (mind you only one political party!) how would you like to live with those memories forever in "paradise?"

This is where it gets better: around the same time in Mexico, it was mandatory to serve one year in the military. So wot did the Gov Body do? They told those JW's, who could afford it, to bribe the state officials to sign those off. This is hardly fair. This is who you follow. If you dnt believe me there is plenty of evidence out there to confirm my stories. And I'm sure there are thousands of Malawi survivors who will tell you different.

In both these instances it always occurred to me why the gov body didn't help the funding in the countries? They were not lacking funds by no means!

Does this not question who you are following? You are following the Gov Body (men) not god. All the decisions and guidelines u follow today are made by men!

I used to be a jw so I kno. I just want everyone else to kno how stupid it is. And in the process want JW's to see how stupid it is. They say the days are not literal days. (even tho after every creative day it says there was morning and evening. The boundary for each day is a morning and an evening surely tht is 24 hours!) but I am willing to overlook tht and go with the JW's view of "symbolic days." (again if u are a TRUE follower of the bible u HAVE to believe each day took a morning and an evening)

Any who... how can u explain then, if each "day" took hundreds of thousands even millions of years EACH, tht plants and fruits were "created" before insects and animals were "created" to pollinate them and help them reproduce or, more importantly SEASONS were "created" 2 "DAYS AFTER THE PLANTS AND VEGITATION? (if u are stupid u must realise plants and veg heavily rely on seasons and a good percentage solely rely on animal and insect interaction) how did the plants survive without this? For, according to ur symbolic days hundreds of thousands or even millions of years? If they did wouldn't they of not need them now?

Surely this does not add up.

I kno u say u dnt, BUT how Many times have u prayed for someone who is Ill to get better? Would they have got better if u dnt pray for them? Who takes the credit if they do get better? Is this not faith healing?

Will humans have free will or will they be 'robots?' i assume u will say free will, so wot will stop people from sinning again? If u say there will be no influence frm Satan. Thn my question is wot influenced Satan? He was a perfect being. So the logic is ppl will be robots. Why dnt god do tht in the first place?

Why are the creation story, Cain and able (grusem story) Noah's ark (unethical story because of the genocide and animal death) and Moses' story all ignored? Or they ate told as children's stories? Not very suitable for kids!

I have read allot of JW magazines and books and they agree with natural selection but not evolution. surely they are one and the same thing?!?!?!? explain yourself! if you believe that they are not the same and that is your understanding of the theory of evolution, no wonder you don't believe it. read a book and research what evolution actually consists of.
