Did IMVU's server just go down (3.50am GMT 21st April 2011)?
It logged me into the client but it looks as if the cache has cleared, buddy list is empty and room list wont open.

I thought it was press and hold 'up' on the direction pad, but I have no way of telling if I can be heard or not. Annoyingly the up direction button also whistles for your horse. Theres nothing in the manual about using voice chat.
2 AnswersVideo & Online Games1 decade agoApollo moon landings faked ? What do you believe?
I was recently thumbed down by several people for stating the Apollo moon landings really did happen, and I cited scientific facts that blow away the conspiracy claims. Why is this still one of the most widely believed conspiracy theories ? Do you believe they were faked ?

1 AnswerChristmas1 decade agoIf Gods design is so perfect, why get circumcised ?
I'm uncircumcised, like most UK men. It was only a few years ago that I found out circumcision was considered normal for most males in the US, done on social, cultural or health grounds, as well as religion.
In the UK, it's quite uncommon, normally only done on religious (Jews, muslims) or medical grounds (burns for example).
My question is as above, if God's design is considered so perfect, then why the need to make alterations ? I'm happy being the way God intended.
31 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWorld of Warcaft - How can I switch from European to US servers ?
My American online friends persuaded me to start playing WoW, however I didn't realize until after I'd installed the European version of the game that I could only play on European servers. I've heard that there is a way however for Europeans to play on US servers. Question is, how ?
Will I be able to play on US servers without having to purchase the US version of the game ? I also have the TBC expansion (Euro), will I still be able to use that if I switch ?
Informed and up-to-date answers only please. I've been looking into this topic and found a lot of conflicting information. I just need the info from someone who knows for sure, preferably from a European player who's already made the switch to a US server.
4 AnswersVideo & Online Games1 decade agoWhat is the word 'socialism' like a swear word in the US ?
I see a lot of questions and answers here equating socialism with communism, which is completely wrong. To me, certain socialist policies are a good thing. Capitalism, by its very nature creates losers: the sick, the poor, the unemployed. Why is there so much opposition to man looking after his fellow man ? I believe society has a certain responsibility to others less well off. Please discuss.

What does this advert say to you; "Flying with us is just as good as sex"? Please discuss your views on the blatant use of sex in advertising.
2 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoWhat's the purpose of the red and white checked hut you sometimes see close to a runway ?
I've sometimes seen a small but distinctive red and white checked hut close to an airfield runway, especially on military air bases in the UK. What's its purpose ? I'm assuming it's not the groundskeepers broom shed.
