  • Do you play Mafia with or without revealing the role of the dead?

The title is self-explanatory. With the exception of roles that prevent role reveal, do you typically reveal the role of the people who have died in your game?

  • What if God changed His mind?

Now, today is the day that the Supreme Court reevaluates Prop 8, and the majority of the opposition of it being repealed has to do with people preaching the Bible.

My question is what if God changed his mind about homosexuality and is currently working on a Bible 2.0? Remember when Abraham argued with God to save the citizens of Sodom and Gomorrah? What if someone on Earth actually convinced God to change his mind?

    Food for thought.

  • Christians, should the Bible be interpreted literally?

The question is pretty straightforward. So, should the Bible be interpreted word-for-word, or what?

If so, why don't you go on a killing spree as mentioned in Leviticus 20:13, saying you should kill homosexual males?

If not, then how can you take any part of the Bible literally and use that to justify a position, considering any Bible quote can be interpreted in any way?

For example, the 5th commandment: Obey thy mother and thy father can also be interpreted as: obey your elders, love your parents, etc.

  • What is god supposed to be?

When I ask the question, I am asking what a god is, not what it can do. I am asking for his primary traits. An example of primary and secondary traits for me would be:

    Primary: I am a human.

Secondary: I am male, I am in high school, etc.

I am asking what god is. Is it supposed to be a floating cloud of dust? A random consciousness? Answer the question.

As an atheist, I see it important to know what a god is before we can start debating one's existence.

If possible, though, I would also like to know some of his secondary traits, namely what can he do? Is he omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent? Did he give us free will?

These are all questions I would like to know the answer to. Remember, before you explain what god is, we can't really argue.

  • Are the three members of the Holy Trinity the same being?

If so, then how did god impregnate someone to give birth to himself?

If not, then how is Christianity monotheistic if they have three divine beings (not including prophets) that are worshiped when monotheism refers to belief in a single deity?

  • Christians, which is more important to go to heaven?

In order to go to heaven, is it more important to believe that Jesus existed, or to lead a moral life, where you commit good deeds. I am asking this because I consider myself a moral atheist, so I want to know if I would go to heaven if your god turned out to truly be real. Please do not say something like "you need to believe in Jesus to be moral", as that is irrelevant in this case.

  • A question for certain theists?

To the theists that say that there is no evidence for god because there would be no point in faith, why does it need to be faith? Why is it important that your god be accepted on faith? What is it about faith that is important to your god?
