okay so im a college sophomore right now doing a domestic exchange. i also really want to do an international exchange next year (or even senior year). would it hurt more than help if i spend that much time away from my home campus? my grades are fine, and i am a semester ahead + halfway through my major requirements so falling behind is not an issue, i just am not sure if not having an established rapport at my home campus will hurt when it comes time to apply for grad school.

background story: my cat began acting ill yesterday. he laid around the house all day and by night time he was completely lethargic and vomiting. we took him to the vet and he has a fever, but he is reacting to the fluids and his temperature is coming down.

right now we are waiting for the blood results that will tell us if he has feline leukemia. this is where it gets confusing...

i have an 11 year old outdoor cat who recently got beaten up. she was not up to date on her shots at the time, but was given her feline leukemia shot a few days after her fight. the indoor cat that is currently sick shares spaces (food bowls, etc) with this outdoor cat. is it possible that he contracted it from her?

what could this mean for both my cats? do symptoms hit so suddenly and so intensely?

my cat ended up getting locked in a hot room in the back of the house today from about 10am to 8pm. he is a house cat who likes to sleep all day, so we weren't surprised when he didnt come around. when we realized he had been locked in a room, we quickly let him out. he came out slowly and quietly, not at all like his usual self. We tried to give him food and water but he rejected it and is now just laying around the house. we have the air conditioner on high in an effort to cool him down but do you think we need to seek medical attention for him or is this a normal reaction?

im 5'3 and i normally wear a size 9/10 in shorts. I have tried on high waisted shorts from many different brands from many different stores (Forever 21, Pacsun- which is where i buy all my shorts and jeans from, American Eagle, Target) and nothing fits right. The leg and pelvic area always looks HUGE while the waist part comes up to just below my belly button- where the tops of my hips are- and is way too tight. Ive experimented and even gone up to a size 16 and even then the waist is still too tight because my hips are in the way!

has anyone else had this problem? does anyone know any good places to buy high waisted shorts from?

i really like the 5s because it is obviously the latest technology from apple, but the 5c is cheaper.

i am a college student paying for the phone my self, so obviously cost is a heavy factor. i am also on the go a lot and use my current phone (iphone 4s) for pictures, music, and social media. i have the 16GB 4s right now and im pretty low on space.

the $99 5c is a really great deal, but storage space is just as important to me as cost.

do you think it would be better to pay the $199 for a 32GB 5c, or would a 16GB 5s be worth it?

does anyone have a c and like it?/ have tried both?

i just want to make sure that the 5c isnt lacking in quality for such a cheap price.

I've been sick for about two weeks now and this past Sunday I developed a cough. The cough has been severe and there has been an excessive amount of mucus in my throat. I have not been able to cough up the mucus but it's been slowly getting thinner. Tonight I rubbed Vicks on my chest and throat and the coughing stopped but the build up of mucus has not. Everytime I try to cough to clear the mucus, I feel like I am unable to cough. And the mucus keeps building up. Is this serious?

I have had my period for like 5 years now, and I am a gymnast, so periods really get in the way. I have tried to use tampons several times. I hear it is easiest on the day with your heaviest flow,but even then it doesn't work for me. I have tried to use the thinest ones (ultra lite) but they still don't go in. I am totally relaxed when I try, Im really not even nervous, but the tampon won't go in. I have read the directions, had my mom help me, used a mirror and I still can't get it in. It causes a stinging pain...Its not a discomfort pain its an actual stinging sensation that I feel even after I stop trying. Is it possible that I just can't use tampons?

I went to the doctor today because I have been having problems breathing when I exercise. My doctor gave me an inhaler (ProAir HFA). I began to read the directions and there was a warning about paradoxical bronchospasm which is potentially life threatening. How can I be sure that I will not be effected by this? Also, from experience, is the ProAir HFA inhaler useful for exercise induced asthma? Any help would be great. thanks (:

I really want to transfer schools (Im in high school, 10th grade). I am interested in theatre and dance and I was considering going to the Public Academy for the Performing Arts (PAPA) in Albuquerque, NM. Does anybody go there or know someone who goes there? I have started working out more and everytime I run I feel as if I cannot exhale. My chest gets tight and it hurts and it takes me about an hour or so to get my breath back.. Yesterday, however, it was so bad that I had to stop running and the feeling of breathlessness is still lingering. Is it possible that I have exercised induced asthma? Also, what kinds of tests do they do at the doctors office? Do they commonly do blood tests?

Im a shy person, and I hate it. Whenever Im around people (even people I know well) I always say the wrong thing, I tense up, and I do a little nervous laugh. Even with family I end up creating awkward situations and I feel really socially awkward. How do I change this. Please help? Thanks.

My dog is acting all drowsy and he can barely open his left eye... he has also benn drinking a TON of water... Im not sure if that has anything to do with it though.. His breathing is very raspy and I have no idea what is going on. Please help!

yesterday i was sprinting and i rolled my ankle. it didnt swell but it hurt really bad and it went numb for a minute. today it is swollen. i took ibuprofen and i have my ankle elevated and compressed and iced, but im scared that i might have torn something. how can you tell if a ligament is torn?
