Hi :)

  • What times of the day are best for different supplements?

I've been taking a few different supplements other than my standard Alive! multivitamin. They include my multivitamin, Co-q10, iron, various seed oils, fiber supplements, raspberry keystones and Oxy Elite Pro. My first impulse is to take them all in the AM with water but I recently learned some supplements compete for absorption. What time should different supplements be taken to achieve maximum absorption? Thank you!

  • Is this a muscle tear or just a sprain! Please help!?

Recently, being a stupid and wreckless teenager of 17, I went rope swinging with some friends into the nearby lake. Everybody had done it before except for myself. When I went, I didn't pull my entire body weight (147)lbs up, and hung there as I sung and released into the water below right as I experienced a very painful shooting pain in my right shoulder. It hurt terribly, and I couldn't use my arm for a few minutes. Now, the muscle in my shoulder stays very hot, and is terribly difficult to use. Did I simply strain it, or could it be a tear? Thank you!

  • A legal question about a car?

I had received a car for my birthday, and unfortunately got into an accident. The car was indrivable, and the man I work for said I could keep the car in the salvage yard I work in for no charge. Due to some recent events, I had to quit my job there and his wife and I have bitter feelings. My car is still there, and in my name, but it's been there for over a month and I was wondering if I can still take my car out of their salvage yard with no legal repercussions or is there legalities involved? I appreciate all feed back. Thank you!

  • Am I caring for my navel piercing correctly?

A few days ago I pierced my navel with a sterile 14 G piercing needle. I am well aware of the possible implications and standards of care for a navel piercing, but I want to make sure I am doing everything correctly. I have been cleansing around the area twice daily with Dial anti-bacterial soap, cleansing carefully around the piercing with a saline solution a few times daily, and have been using an Epsom salt soak a few times daily as well. I am always careful not to touch my piercing with unclean hands, and not to fondle it an unnecessary amount during the cleaning. I wear unrestricted clothing and the redness associated with a navel piercing has diminished over the days following the piercing. Am I on the right track? Thank you.

  • Can this strange occurance be explained?

It used to be, as in a few months ago or so, that I would take a standard multivitamin each morning on a daily basis. I had done so for nearly a year. I felt no notable improvement in my health (my health being very well anyway), but I continued. Once I had depleted my last bottle of multivitamins, I made a note to purchase more but I procrastinated and never did. Strangely, since I discontinued my use of a multivitamin, my nails and hair have become stronger, and my health has seemingly improved. This is very strange, considering if anything it should be the other way around. Can this be explained? Or do you have a similar story? Hyperlinks to other pages are welcome. Thank you!

  • A question conserning iTunes?

I recently had my computer worked on. Afterwards, I had to reinstall iTunes. Origionally I had over 150 songs on my iTunes library, now, it says I have only about 36. Any ideas as to why this has happened, or how I can retrieve all of my library? Thank you.

  • A question about herpes warts?

I was recently diagnosed with the sexually transmitted disease of vaginal herpes. I am experiencing my first "outbreak". There is a small cluster of "warts" or "blisters" at the opening of my vagina. I've looked up pictures and my question is, is it inevitable that I will have an outbreak of these all over, and on my mouth? Or is it possible that I will rarely experience these? Thank you very much for your input!

  • What's the right thing to do?

I'm going to make a long story short. I was totally crazy about a guy I was dating, but he broke up with me, breaking my heart, and dated another girl. I was so hurt, I still have yet to get over it, even though it's been months, but I began dating a guy I had been friends with for years. He is so good to me, we match up so well and get along. It's just amazing. But I have to face it, I don't feel as crazy for him as I did my ex. Recently, my ex has come to me saying he wishes he could have made us work, and that he misses me. We attend the same church, so avoidance is difficult. He's flirting and I can't help but flirt back a little. But I'm tired of it. I don't want to have these feelings, especially when the guy I'm with is so good to me, he deserves my loyalty. Any advice on why I still feel so strongly for him, and not my current boyfriend? Or how to shake the feelings? Thank you!

  • Skype on the Android Tablet?

My friend is trying to Skype from an Android Tablet. She's got everything all set up, but there's an odd complication: when she video calls, her call screen displays her upside down. She's tried rotating it, but that turns the person she's calling upside down. Does anybody have a solution to this or know where one can be found? Thanks!

  • What in the world does this mean?

So, I'm friends with this girl on Facebook. And 99% of the time, before she writes her status, she'll say "Herp", "Derp", "Herpderp", "Wurp", "HerpidyDerpity" or something like it. For example, "It's too early for me to derp like this." Or "Herp. I want an XboX!", "Herpderp. Actually looking nice today!", or even, "I herped way too much derp.". Somebody tell me THE **** DOES THAT MEAN?! ...That is all. Thank you.

  • Noob question about iPod syncing?

My friend lent me her iPod and I was wondering (I've got her permission), if I plugged her iPod into my iTunes and put all her music onto my library to transfer it to my iPod, would that erase her music or harm her iPod? I'm not electronically gifted so I was just wondering before I try to do it.

  • Do I break up with him?

I've been dating this guy for about six months now. We're both juniors in two different high schools, but we see each other twice a week at church. He plays football and has a lot of tough classes, so he has very little free time. Lately, for about the past four/five days, he hasn't been texting me hardly at all. And when we do text, we never tell each other we love each other, or call each other pet names like we used to. It's like a business transaction. Do I call it quits? I want to stick it out, I don't want him to think I'm just abandoning him because I can't handle the rough patch. But it's really hurting me... opinions?

  • A question about the life of my make-up?

I add a liquid base of mineral foundation, and then a Maybeline lose power layer over it (because I have fairly oily skin), but I've noticed that the fresh-look of my make-up fades within just a couple hours, not even, of the application. I also use a small amount of lotion on my face prior to doing my make-up, if that plays any role. Is there any way I can elongate the life of my make-up after application? Thank you!

  • A question about two pet rats?

I have had a female large albino rat named Friend for a couple months, and just bought a small female rat companion for her named Buddie. They get along fine, but Friend used to be very active, constantly running on her weel and climbing, but once I introduced Buddie, the two cuddle in the cornor of the cage all day and for most of the night. It's cute, but I don't understand why they just nap and cuddle in the cornor all the time. I'd like to get her out and play but she doesn't seem like she wants to. Also, while you're at it, do you have any suggestions on how I can create a bond between my new baby rat Buddie and myself? I know it's best to start off early like now.

  • Trying out for mascot-- TIPS?

My highschool recently opened up tryouts for the beaver mascot, and I'm the only one who signed up! So that means, when I try out the judges will be tougher on me, I have to make an 80% or I can't be it. Our school's cheerleading team isn't that good so we desperately need a mascot to bring some life into our pep rallies. I need some skit ideas so I can bring home the gold!

  • Teaching my pet rat tricks?

I've had my pet rat Friend for a couple maybe three months now, and she's become well adjusted and tame, so I thought it would be a good time to begin training her. I have a rat book that talks all about it, and I decided to begin with teaching her to respond to her name, but the problem is that she won't take any treats from my hand, and since she's a female, she's very active and won't stay still long enough for effective affection or praise. She will take treats from her bowl, but pays no attention to food outside of her bowl. Any reasons for this? Or any tips on training her? Thank you very much.

  • Rat toy ideas for an inquisitive Friend?

I recently bought an albino female rat which I named Friend. I have a cage, and in it I've added thick Care Fresh bedding, a large wheel, ceramic food bowl, wooded house, stick bridge, and a cute ladder. She also has some chewing toys for her teeth. But upon researching a little deeper about rats, I discovered how inquisitive they are and how they need their toys swapped often to keep them entertained. So I need some toy ideas for her. Any would help :)
