My mom has been physically and verbally abusing me since i was about 12 or 13. She did hit me as a child but it got worse as i got older. She really hated when i started to fight back but what else was i supposed to do? She would pull my hair and hit me with anything hard she could find, and she still does. She complains about me failing in school but doesn't even realized its her fault; i have to go home to a bully everyday ready to call me any names that pop into her head. Ive totally given up on life because i only have her and she doesn't even support me. When i told her i wanted to be an actress, she had absolutely no faith in me. The worst part is after an argument/fight she'll go to a friends house or call my older siblings and depict me to be someone who im not and make herself look the the innocent one; like shes the one suffering. She tries to make herself look like shes the perfect mom but the truth is she a bully, she has brought my self esteem so low that im afraid to make any friends because i'll thing they'll judge me like she does. I started cutting myself 2 years ago because it takes my mind off the pain i feel on the inside. Ive even once said to her that i want to kill my self because of her and she called me stupid, but when i do; she'll be the stupid one. Im 16 and i know i have 2 years left till i can finally leave her but i dont know if i can last that long; ive been dealing with her crap for too long.

I believe that there is a god, but i don't believe that he has magical powers and stuff. He's just a 'force' or something watching us. I believe there was a Jesus, but i dont believe that he walked on water, or turn water to wine or came back from the dead. I also believe that Jesus was Josephs child because we all know from science that the only way a woman can get pregnant is sperm going in her egg... If i ever told my mom this stuff she would kill me because shes really religious. But i just find all of this stuff impossible to believe. Science has more proof.

I'm 16 now but from the ages of 3-8 i was sexually abused by my first cousin. I know its not my fault because i had no idea what he was doing and i couldn't stop him, but i can't help but blame myself for letting it go on as long as it did. He stopped touching me and making me touch him at around 5 or 6 and just always looked at me and purposely walked close behind me. Because of this I cant trust anyone, not even my mother or anyone i'm in a relationship with. I haven;t told my mother because I feel like if i told her, she wouldn't believe me and tell me to shut up, because that's just the type of mother she is.. But if she did believe me, she would confront him and it would ruin the whole family because everyone loves him. So i just want to forget it., but every time i try it get worse and messes with my life, I'm always failing in school, i have way to much stress for a teenager, i began cutting myself 2 years ago and thinking of suicide. Everyone keeps wondering why i talk to every other cousin but him and in my head i keep saying "isn't it obvious that something wrong?" I just want to forget before i do something I'll probably regret...

I just bought my PS3 (500gb) so its brand new. But all i see is a blank screen. its been like this for about 15-20 minutes now... it asked me 2 questions at first: What language, and do i want to use my HDMI cord and now its just blank. Is it loading or something?

I'm only 15 but lately I've been thinking about baby names, for the future. I really like the name Osiris because it sounds unique but when i researched the name, according to Greek mythology the name means 'god of the dead' which kinda scared me a bit. My family is the kind that believes in ghosts and stuff so I'm pretty sure my mom wouldn't like the name because of its meaning. So what are some other Greek Mythology related names for boys? List some names that are unique. Not so unique that you've never heard the name before but unique enough so that if my child is in a class of 40 kids, he'd be tho only one with that name.

Im the youngest of 3 kids. My brother is a high school drop out with 3 kids of different mothers, on the verge of divorce and started smoking when he was a teen. My sister is hardly around, and then there's me. Now my brother, the high school drop out, is treated like he's a star even though he has no accomplishments in life, and has been in prison more than 10 times ever since i was 2. Im the only one still in the house because im only 15. I'm trying my best in school and i actually want to go to college and make something out of myself. I stay in my room all day so i wont have to hear her mouth and she get mad at me for that. My mother treats me like a slave and yells at me all day, tells me im worthless and that im a child of the devil, which is the reason im in my room. Which is also why i call her a bad mom. Honestly i really dont understand what i do to make her treat me like this. I grew up without a father and now i feel like im losing my mother.

Even though i'm only 15, i believe that hitting your children is just wrong. Its physical abuse that can make your child grow up to hate you. My mom used to hit me all the time and now we don't get along at all. Every parent wants their child to stand up for themselves if they somehow end up getting into a fight or is getting bullied, correct? Well if you hit your children they're gonna use that as a defense mechanism on you once day. This is just my opinion... Whats yours?

I've noticed recently that i have to wash my hair more often, i've already washed it 4 times this week (i usually was it once a week). It gets really itchy maybe 2 or 3 days after washing. i usually dont use grease or anything on my scalp because when i do, my hair feels heavy. What can i do to keep my scalp moisturized. if i do need grease can you tell me which one? and where i can get it? ALSO, is it healthy for my hair to feel light after blow drying? I don't blow dry often, but when i do my hair feels light, like its not there. does that mean my hair is weak?

Like most African American girls, my hair takes a reallllyyy long tome to grow, and its really course,kinky and nappy, so i never cut it. i'm NEVER using perm again either... Anyways, i've tried the egg treatment where you crack 2 eggs and add olive oil, mix it, and leave in your hair for an hour, i've tried nasty castor oil. Is there any other healthy way i can grow my type of hair quicker

My hair is really REALLY course, i have African American hair type. Ive only let it air dry about 3 times and every time it was completely dry it would be really crunchy and kinky and hard to comb out. when i blow dry it comes out nice and smooth, but is that healthy? which should i do?

I have really course curly hair, like an African American girl. sometimes its hard to comb out so i straighten it out, i don't perm anymore because it destroyed my hair when i was younger. so i stay natural. since i straighten it out so much how often should i was it out. i usually do once a week, is that okay?

I'm going on this diet where I eat salid and sometimes tuna for lunch. When I make my salid I usually put a little bit of salt in it. And sometimes when I make tuna I put salt and pepper (no mayo). I want to know if I put salt in my foods will I gain weight from it? Is it just water weight?
