It's Office Standard and it's a plastic box that's got lovely curves and horrifyingly difficult "security." I've been pulling and twisting... there has to be some trick that I'm not getting! It's hard than opening CD cases ever was!

I have real work to do today! Help!

I am simply bored and exhausted with people who insist that if only people would "educate themselves" that they would agree with their point of view.

IMO, it's an extremely thinly veiled way of trying to say "I'm waaaaay smarter than all y'all 'people'."

Am I alone in finding this R&S cliche completely offensive, arrogant, and useless?

What do you think?

If you use this phrase, why do you use it and do you mean something besides "I'm smarter than you" when you say it? (Am I just misunderstanding?)

If you don't use this phrase, why don't you and how do you feel when someone does?

I don't think it's a Christians-only or Atheists-only phrase... I think both camps (and others as well) use it. What do you say?

No, I'm not looking to convert you. I'm really curious. Please no vague answers like "any proof." I'm trying to see if we all have the same definition of proof. Is it like, an answer to a particular prayer? Is it a Heavenly vision? Is a dream enough? If you saw an angel? Are miracles enough -- like near-death experiences? What about a reasoned logical debate that brought to your mind new questions? How do you define proof?

Is it possible for someone to answer this question with a yes?

We have a dry erase wall, and kids have written a lot of things on it with dry erase markers. We want to take the markings off but some of it is kind of stuck... Do I use vinegar? Nail polish remover (what if that takes off the shiny layer??)? What do you recommend?
